Its hard enough to get buyers just to read the whole auction and all your terms. I think it will be ignored for the most part by buyers that were 100% satisfied. It will be the nit pickers who find fault when there is none that will use the new system. You don't know how many times I get buyers asking if I shipped their item out yet when it has only been 24hrs. since purchase & payment. I state in my terms that I ship out 2-3 times a week. What about when the post office is running behind, especially during the holidays! you get blamed not the post office! What about buyers who pay with an e-check and think you should ship before it clears? I could go on and on but I will end my rant for now....lol Edited to add* International shipping & custom problems...this is going to be ugly! [/quote] And what about buyers? Shouldn't they be rated, too? e.g. Communication, Ability to Read the Listing and Comprehend Terms, Asking Questions Ahead of Bidding, Promptness of Pay, Reliable Shipping Address (especially for international buyers) -- stuff like that. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I have a Zen question for anyone who may know the answer.
Is it possible to move items from WP to a zen site via easy populate? I am asking for a few people who may need to do this in the coming weeks. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.." |

You would have to be able to export the WP items to an excel file. Eclectica is correct, in that their uploader may only work in one direction.
:blinkie: I am just giving my very limited knowledge on the subject, and will be quiet now |

Quote:Is it possible to move items from WP to a zen site via easy populate? If WP's state of the art bulk lister has an export function all they would need to do is copy and paste the columns of data from the WP download to the appropriate columns in the easypopulate spreadsheet. You can move thousands of items from one place to another in minutes. If WP doesn't have an export function they could always copy and paste from WP into the easypopulate spreadsheet and then bulk uplist to Zen which would save time. edit: thousands of items is with easypopulate advanced (a $65 program) which I use. The basic version of easypopulate can move hundreds at a time.
