What do you mean Aquariums rule? All you can do with an aquarium is put fish in it!! Personally I think dog houses rule. They keep your dog out of the weather. They can be a safe haven for a husband who does or says something wrong even when he isn't sure what he did or said wrong. It can be somewhere for him too go to have a place to spend some time thinking what would have been the right thing to do or not have done or to have said or not said. Once he guesses what it was that he did or didn't do, said or didn't say about whatever it was that he did or didn't do, or said or didn't say about who it was supposed to have been done for or not done for or said about or shouldn't have been said about. If he guesses wrong then he has a place to go where he can guess again about what it was that he did or didn't do, said or didn't say about whatever it was that he did or didn't do, or said or didn't say about who it was supposed to have been done for or not done for or said about or shouldn't have been said about. Just like in my case once FH reads this I will have a place to go. That is why a dog house rules not aquariums. I'm going to my dog house to find something to smoke. Platzki your invited, bring some brownies and koolaid!! I have cheach and chong (sp) playing on my laptop. :turkey2:
Aquarians!!... not aquariums... I'll meet you in the dog house in 5 minutes... we can smoke a "bone"...
Platzki I have one Nylabone and two by Kong. By the way I knew it was "Aquarians" not aquariums It was a joke!!

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
PS,
I can fully understand you wanting to support the smaller sellers but I will tell you why WP is not one of my favs. I have sold on the E since 2001. My very first website I ever had was with Merchant Moms. They now have a new owner but everything is pretty much the same, also Papa Shops which has banners here is just like them. They have a product that allows sellers to create all kinds of pages, inventory control, just sooo much more to create a fantastic website without html knowledge. All for $12.95 a month. No FVF or anything else and includes your hosting, and customer service that is great. Also what is included, is ONE simple button that allows you to upload ALL your products to Froogle. So, when CS at WP keep talking about how they are "organically" growing by feeding things to froogle and so on, it is nothing that people cannot do on their own. They just make it sound all technical for those sellers who haven't been around as much as others. In one years time, there has been no seller promotions from WP, no buyer promotions, just nothing. They even stated "all we supply is a place for you to sell your products." Considering it is a site consisting of a collection of stores, they should be advertising, especially because people are paying. If you want similar options people can go to Plunderhere. Same script. But, at least that place is free and lower FVF. The owner constantly promotes the sellers, has banners everywhere and basically does what one would expect from a site where you actually have to pay. People are not just banned from the boards for bad language or comments, they remove posts when people ask about advertising and lack of traffic, even before people start getting nasty. Why go on about "We the People" when it is really only "Don't Question Me". That is just the first example of what I thought way back in the beginning. I have seen and noticed many many things since then but I don't feel like going on and on, as everyone has already talked about it. If you truly want to support sellers, stop saying how impatient they are, how they didn't list enough etc. etc. etc. It is NOT their fault for lack of traffic, nor any other sellers fault. It is THEIR business decision. |

When Moses asked the Pharaoh to "Let My People Go" and he didn't the plagues started. After a few plagues he let the people go.
TPG, a beautiful analogy. I don't think I could have come up with a better one. And that is exactly what happened - to you, your wife, me and many others on here that KaRay tried to squeeze a bit more juice out of. Kudos and karma my friend!

Thank you sherrand! Well my TT friends after spending a couple of hours in the dog house with Platzki: I think FH and I are going to burn an evergreen incense, pop in a movie, drink a couple of R&Cs have another brownie, or two, munch down a few bags of chips and call it a night.

Words seem to be pointless and a waste of time and energy, so I'll continue to lean more toward supporting venues with actions rather than words. I wish it didn't have to be that way, but it seems like it does.
I just lost my breath, CPR - STAT. I'm having heart palpatations! I've received a blow of monutental proportions. The proposal of a horrible unimaginable concept! Support venues with actions rather than words... plural? This is great!!! But I only hear of one venue spouting from your keyboard. The air just left my lungs. You sit with confidence on a sturdy chair, you reach out to the kitchen table where all the bounty is laid out for the taking. You dine. But if you sit on a chair with weak legs it will collapse from the weight no matter how much you strive, you will be out of reach of the bounty and you will go hungry. chair occupancy = you chair legs = WP table = a platform supporting your desired goals - and where it is waiting for your arrival. bounty = the rewards you can reap from the foundation of a solid diet of good nourishment for your business. PS, I think you need your buddy user391 to drop in and help you explain your philosophy.
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

My buyers are cheerful, friendly, thankful, and kind.
What a coincidence. So are mine. And they aren't within a solar system of WP!
