Aaaahh, but Ms Head Cheerleader had to set both xxx and xxx straight: Quote:xxxxx 02 Jul 2007 03:14 Founding user IDs? If xxx opens his store again, he will lose his "founding member" status. Lawsey, but she speaks in as many circles as Ray does.
Hey Ray, how about giving sellers who re-open their stores a special icon: "LOSTING MEMBER" ??? Edit: Ray's criteria for "Founding Member" status: someone, who, against all odds, actually FOUND the site and became a member as of Jan. 1 |

Quote:xxxxxxxxx 02 Jul 2007 07:38 HUH? You're running a business and you don't check it everyday then are mad because you get a neg? If you had sales, you probably would have gotten the neg sooner! I do understand the whole message thing tho and that sucks... but I always check all my venues, consistently thruout the day. Thats the only way to maintain top notch customer service!! That is what online sales is!! |

I check my emails about once every 10 minutes, throughout the day, from 6 a.m. to midnight. I can, however, understand why this seller only checked every other day -- it would be like running out the door every 10 minutes to watch Gibralter crumble. |

Store count 196 this explains why AndRay was slow to delete the post this morning he must be busy doing store closures.
New post in the founding members thread. I just don't understand this one at all Quote:xxxxxxxxx 02 Jul 2007 13:53 Bolding mine. First of all anybody and everybody who was there as of Jan. 2007 became a founding member it didn't matter if you just opened your store the last week of Dec. You still were arcasm1: honored with that title. It means absoulutly nothing. Second WP owes you nothing but what your $9.95 pays for? Just what is that $9.95 paying for? The right to list on a site which gives you less than a lot of free sites do. A site that lies about the ability to make those features available to you. A site that has made numerous promises that it never delivers. A site that you are not allowed to ask questions on where you are required to just fall in line. arcasm1: Wow a seller really gets a lot for their money there. Quote:Ditto on that, Platz. From the founding members thread looks like one is jumping ship. This post won't last long. Quote:xxxxxxxxx 02 Jul 2007 07:38
Good scoop, scoop. This seller was extremely supportive. He ran the most popular listing contest ever seen on WP and is still paying the monthly fees of another seller - the one who won his prize offering. I'm sure the little bird who informed him of the negs he received read it here since we discussed it just the other day. In fairness to him though, he lists on numerous sites. I doubt he does have the time to check each one of these a few times a day. His WP store has been pretty dead the last few months so I can understand him not checking it and depending on the email system to alert him to any activity. I do the same thing too and only check some of my sites sporadically. Also in defense of him (I am defending him aren't I?) he has a hot link for his direct email address well displayed on his landing page. The buyer could have tried emailing him directly as another avenue of contact. But it didn't happen and both parties relied solely on WP notification which failed them. Another very dependable seller earned a neg recently as well. I bet their story is similar. There have been posts made on WP for the last week or so by poppers complaining they were not getting their mail. CC2 finally posts and perhaps due to what we reported here. But just a cold advisory that they are doing maintenance. No apology to the poppers for the frustrations, the inconvenience they've endured. No send me your details we'll look into it. Customer care? What care?
The one thing you can never afford to lose is your temper.

He does sell on many sites and most likely was not checking into WP as often due to the fact that it's been dead there. He probably got tired of checking and finding no activity. I also noticed that he had his email address displayed in a few places and also had his aol. ID displayed and stated that anyone could send him an instant message through there. Personally as a buyer I would have tried to reach him through his email too if I had no response through the message system before leaving the neg. |
