RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
eBay lost 0.9% of its US stores (a loss of 2,150 stores) during the 3rd quarter after screwing sellers and raising fees[source Q3 earnings]

Wagglepop has lost 12.7% of its stores (a loss of 119 stores) since mid-September because Ray is a boinking asshole and even worse than eBay

Hope this helps. Yellowtonguerazz

Lady,
Don't feel sorry for me, feel sorry for yourself when your business goes in the crapper because you bought into Ray's brainwashing BS. My whole reason for my being there was about business. I was led to believe it was the business opportunity of the millennium. I soon discovered the site was about a lot of things, but business was not one of them. You people are cultists -- stop pretending otherwise. Forgive me for being angered by the blatantly deceptive methods recruiters use to lure good, honest sellers, like myself, into their ranks by spamming the boards on eBay and elsewhere. I was lyed to, pure and simple, and I'm supposed to feel all warm and fuzzy about it? Come on!

Karen clarifies "her" <-- 2funny  earlier statement:

Karen WP Wrote:I think perhaps there is a misinterpretation of my initial comments regarding who will be "coming with us" from this point forward as we evolve.

Those who understand the meaning of "trust" and pay their seller invoices as per the User Agreement each month come with us into the future of Wagglepop.

Those for whom trust is an uncomfortable notion, and have not paid their seller invoices each month, will not.

It's simply time to separate the "contenders" from the "pretenders", because what comes next for Wagglepop is only for our loyal and dedicated seller body to benefit from, and for new sellers who want to be a part of that and understand the overall responsibility to the entire community Smile

You can't tell me there's not more to the "trust" issue than paying an invoice. Many sellers were complaining back in August that their memberships had been suspended, without warning, for being just one day late in payment -- and that was long before this new "account software" was supposedly installed. Does the brainwashing program Ray uses also instill memory loss?

;D

No, seriously. That's a weird letter. If he's trying to grow the site, why is he sticking all of the sellers in a tense "did I get picked for the football team? Or am I going to get shunned?" period.

IN response to LadyRock's quote of my quote:
Quote:Well than there are alot of sellers out there who can't read nor understand the TOS of those sites.
Not just poppers.

This frightens me.

I thought most elementary schools required reading comprehension tests.

Edited to add: by the way, it should be:

"Well, then there are a lot of sellers out there who can't read or understand the TOS of those sites."

I stand by that. If people cannot understand a TOS, or cannot read one--it's dangerous for them to participate on a site (or anywhere, for that matter).

It's easy for them to get screwed. Plain and simple.

That's how lawyers and sales people have been screwing people for years.

And, your comeback
Quote:Well than there are alot of sellers out there who can't read nor understand the TOS of those sites.
was in defiance to something I had said earlier. It was the only thing you could think of in defense.

Kind of a "Well, we're too stupid to know any better, so it's OK" defense.

Hey--it's up to you if you want to assiociate with a site that "kills" seller accounts when they step over a perceived line.

And, answer me this, LadyRock.

Is it ethical for Ray to bill people who LEAVE or have been KICKED OUT of Wagglepop for the MONTH AFTER THEY ARE GONE?

Is it acceptable for him to do this? To bill them for a 30-day period, during which they receive no goods or services?

--Would it be OK for Earthlink to do the same thing? To bill you for 30 days of internet service after you've cancelled?

--Or would it be OK for your oil change servicer to bill you the next month, for the same service, even though you won't be using it again?

--Or for a magazine to bill you or next year's subscription when you call to cancel your current subscription?

--or for eBay to duplicate your last month's fee charge the month after you close your own eBay account?

Just curious.

And why the need to close a seller's account completely and deny them access even as a buyer...unless Ray has something to hide or fear?

None of this is a NORMAL way to do business. Same thing with this new software. If someone does not pay, boot them. How hard is that to keep track of? Or is the software going to be tracking other things as well? I would want to know just what those things are.

Another excellent ethical question.

Why?
