Where's Ray been hiding lately?
Good question Amy. I take your comment to mean you also noticed that he didn't cull the herd. Close down any deadbeat accounts in August. There are at least 4 active stores and a few empty ones that should have been 'dismissed' for non-payment. They have no 1st payment icon in their header. Didn't happen though. One of the empty ones we know about through PSU. Ultimate Thomas recently explained on PSU the attempts they made to close properly. Perhaps the vigorous chore of axing the delinquents has been given to the new "We The People" membership council. BTW, anyone know who they are? The 'chosen' should have been announced by now according to last mention of this exalted council. Edited because I can't spell today...

Pick me Ray, pick me! tolensmiley:
Sneaky, to qualify you must pledge the following: I promise to maintain the current high standard of participation on the forums and vow to eradicate any vocal voice or mere whisper of dissention. All discontented sellers and seller comments will be destroyed immediately this being any post which does not champion the stellar merits of Wagglepop and all staff members. I will not hesitate to use the "Edit" finger entrusted to me with this directive. I promise to post within the forum typing lots of words but revealing no information. I promise to start OT threads of interest to keep the seller's from focusing on lack of sales or traffic. The forum will be fun, funny, funnier - or else devoted to prayers. I will actively submit new topics to meet this objective. I promise to dilligently spam all blogs, forums, friends or relatives worldwide that will listen to me. This will only enhance the stellar SEO poppers are currently privileged to enjoy. I will encourage and perpetuate this golden opportunity that every seller can enjoy if they set up a store and LIST, LIST, LIST. I promise to remove negative feedback that any of the faithful are burdened with. Those who become victim to such negativity understand a trust based site such as Wagglepop do not deserve this indignity served on their devoted. I promise to help any and all create a friends page at any time. Disclaimer: Once created, I am not responsible for the removal of store links pointing toward closed businesses. I promise to conduct myself like an angel.

And should the critical post be of a questioning nature, I vow to never answer the question(s) and change the subject; AND (if at all humanly possible) try to get the poster on the defensive with verbal attacks. Should the poster insist on an answer, and I have no defense, I vow to proclaim the poster mentally unstable, a liar and/or a hateful, spiteful troll. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
From the eBay boards, Aug. 26
Quote:According to the e-mail I got from Ebay,as of Sept.16th,Stores will be closed and multiple item listings will be 35 cents per 30 days. If indeed it is the same seller, this seller has a 2200+ fb rating on eBay, and shows evidence of 19 puny sales on WP since joining in January of this year -- 3 sales ($39.97 gross, since the $29.95 fee hike came into effect) in the last 3 months. There is another seller with the same user ID on WP as the eBay poster (no location given), however, that has no WP listings, and one FB as a buyer from our favorite cheerleader. |

They run the dropshipping sites www.vistawholesale.com and www.sellersoutlet.com Wagglepop is a registered Federal trademark of Wagglepop LLC. Why hasn't Ray filed a trademark dispute over the registration of wagglepop.net? Was the domain registration done with his approval?

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
WagglePop.net was sold for $129.38 back in March 2005.
I don't remember if Ray owned the domain, but chances are very good that he did. Some of the people from the thread are still kicking around, they might remember. If he sold it, tough noogies to him 'cause he sold the right to use the trademark, too. This might be the reason his litigious style threats aren't being tossed around.
