Oh, dear. Did someone slip and express dismay with piss-poor sales, abysmal customer service or any of the myriad other issues that plaque Poopland? I noticed another "A team" cheerleader, Bernings Bargains, has downgraded from Showcase to basic -- not surprisingly, since she shows no sales in over a month.

Only one Showcase store left: last sale resulting in negative feedback for seller.

On another note: Ray's eBay store also seems to be striking out (pun intended).

Edit: Also, the "other" cheerleader shows less than $25 in sales since July.

Time for some new Kool-Aid. Maybe Ray needs to show proof of an increase in magazine page sales by upgrading his eBay store to a $49.95 Featured store. Then he can show the benefits to poppers by bringing his sell thru up from 2% to 5%, and find some new converts to his $70/month subscription. 
I still think the $30/month is ridiculous for a popper to pay when eBay only charges $16 for 100x the traffic.

This is a little off topic, but remember the big bruhaha when the owner of Milbid (who insults women), and unabashedly lists "big sex toys" and "group masterbation" as some of his perverted interests?

Well, there a poster spamming for the site on PSU, who claims we are all full of it and that Milbid is the bomb.

I have absolutely no bad experiences with the owner of MilBid or the MilBid site. And I find no evidence of any legitimate evidence pertaining to smear you are repeating here if it in fact pertains to the owner of MilBid. I have seen a troll site with an agenda.....something with tools or tulip in the title, that is totally disgusting that seems to love sexually smearing everyone they dislike....but surely you don't take them seriously? Pehaps that is what you are referring too. I would think a professional like yourself however would never buy into any so called information coming from a site like that.....really disgusting!

Since when does  Milbid sell software?

The first things I look at when I visit an eBaY alternative are the TOS and privacy policies.  With 99% of sites that is all I visit because after reading them it is apparent the site is run by an amateur boinktard and will never go anywhere.

Only an idiot would open an auction site without the liability protection of an LLC or corporation.

Even if a site lists a business name you should check corporate records to make sure the business really exists.  2 examples: AlsoShop lists a nonexistent LLC as the owner on its WHOIS.  Under its former ownership, AuctionQuests listed a nonexistent LLC as the owner and listed the address as "Yukon Territory, Zimbabwe"

Only an idiot would open an auction site without having a proper terms of service in place.  The terms of service and privacy policies should be in place before the site opens because the main purpose of the TOS is to protect the site's owner from liability.

Generally this information is requested when you purchase our software packages.

That wording is from the stock privacy policy that comes with PHP Pro Bid.  The privacy policies of Plunderhere and dozens of other boinktard PHP Pro Bid sites have the same language.

You havent figured out that as of yet, alternatives are not about volume sales today...they are an investment in tomorrow...if you only want to do business like you do on eBay there is only one place for you...eBay...

I laughed hard at first then I read back and seen how they chastised that one seller for asking legitimate business questions. Seems kinda fitting how this link was posted here IMO.

Mo, you could make more money by collecting cans and returning them for the deposit back. I believe here in NY we have a $20 limit a day per person per store. You might want to check the laws in CA though.

I've never understood why sellers who have built up customer lists of 1,000 or 10,000, or even 20,000 are so willing to put their faith in rinky dink auction sites that only have 139 members (Milbid) or 318 members (AlsoSh.it)...especially when those rinky dinks are run by former hobby sellers (like MoPuppet) who had a hard time attracting buyers when they were selling.  Do people really think that the mere act of spending $210 by these hobby sellers turned rink dink owners has magically given the Mos of the world a clue what it takes to attract buyers?

If you're a seller who has built up a customer list in the thousands your choice for an "eBay alternative" should be yourself (i.e. open your own frickin' web site) not some boinktard phpProBid clone owner who knows nothing about selling and can't even write a proper TOS/Privacy Policy and doesn't even know enough to incorporate their business to protect their  personal assets from liability (newsflash:  making up a fake LLC name to put on your WHOIS isn't going to offer any protection if any of these idiots ever get sued by a seller or a manufacturer whose intellectual property rights have been infringed).
