Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
The "long-haulers" are beginning to think that what they're haulin' aint no bed of roses. Lots of couphing and sputtering going on:
From a "hauler" with two stores: Quote:It seems everyone has stopped listing ... probably too depressed. From another "hauler" with four stores: Quote:It's taking me a little longer to list an item now, because I'm transferring the listing to a few other sites also. Andrew can't seem to give us a clear answer about the site's future, so I don't want to keep all my eggs in one basket...everyday we seem to lose more stores stores and nobody posts on the boards anymore. It's sad. All together now: And now, the end is near, and so we face the final curtain. We've cheered, we've spammed the net, stated our case Now we're not certain We were obsessed Now we're depressed. No more BS and no more Koolaid Busted our butts, and all for what To do it Ray's way. |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I guess the "sweetness and light" is all gone... back to board violations jibberish.
When will these poppers learn... it's the neverending Wagglepop saga... TODAY ON AS THE WAGGLEPOP TURNS MY STOMACH... (deep voiced announcer) Ray needs help so he posts something in the forum (so unprofessional), the empathetic poppers come to the rescue with suggestions, heartfelt good wishes and sometimes even money!! But, alas, when all is said and done and Ray is back to being... well... Ray... here come the posts about posting violations... I'd like to know why saying goodbye is a violation in the first place. And why did he leave the one thread up for days before pulling it? I'm reminded of Mr. Owl and that commercial of how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? The world may never know. That's our programming for today. Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow! OFF THE AIR |

There is still no announcement about the price increase on the announcements page but if you look closely you'll notice that Raytard edited the December 31, 2008 announcement this week to reflect the higher prices
Quote:One-Year Free Trial Subscription to SmartSell Enterprise EDIT: Get a calculator Ray...you should be charging $239.70 for the 50% Revolution Rewind discount not $239.60. :twistedevil: Quote:Revolution Rewind Plus Program

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
The end is near. The boards are filled with discontent. The long-haulers are transferring all their listings to eBay. And Ray has definitely given up. No rah-rah speeches, no Kool-aid, no promises of things to come, NOTHING, NADA, ZILTCH, ZIPPO, SQUAT -- he's even given up on policing the boards.
If WP is alive in June, I'll eat my knickers. |

LOL
Poor Raytard is going down for the count. I'm wondering how many stores will be left on there when he pulls the plug. It's not as if he is not giving them plenty of warning, but ya know what? You just can't fix stupid Maybe if they all sit around the campfire and sing, Raytard will give them some warning or HEY!! maybe there will be those hundreds of stores back that he lost because of his arrogance and ego. Someone's singing Raytard, Kumbaya Someone's singing Raytard, Kumbaya |

If it's closing we should save this bit of humorous WP coding memorabilia for posterity (404 error page)

AndRay:
Quote:There is simply nothing to report at this time. As previously discussed, end of month processing for May will give us all the information we will need to determine the future of Wagglepop. That's right faithful poppers. Pay your dues today so the site can be banished into eBay rinky dink alternative heaven after "processing." Time to find some more expensive magazine pages to sell Ray, or find a job. To think, Ray could be making twice as much a month now in his pocket if he Had just spent some of the money from the $9290 month on features the members asked for. I hope you invested it wisely! Next up on RayWorld: You saw him as the barely-powerseller magazine page seller... Then, he became the Waggleflop CEO. What's next for Ray? Come see the happy boy Ray in his brand new feature: How to use Wagglepop cult strategy to run for public office! That's right boys and girls, come and see the cult leader himself run a $75,000 personally funded campaign into the ground as he runs for public office. Never fearing defeat, he can always blame you for not giving him enough funding to put over his high taxing, low service platforms. He has the bailout plan to beat all bailouts. Just give him your money and he will change his boxers daily, insult you via email, break campaign promises, and call you a deadbeat, bum, and troll when you stop paying his salary for doing nothing but renting a little custom decorated space for you to visit him.
"Listen up Mother****er. Try that bulls*** here and I will hand you and your head in a basket"
- Ray Romeo's alter ego Andrew Pittino responding when I signed up a new account on Wagglepop to verify the non-existence of a way to opt out of his sharing my information with third parties. |
