RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Here are some additional posts from the same thread I posted above

Quote:"I am constantly amazed by all of the people who use "cannot afford" as an excuse to close a store. C'mon people, it's 10 bucks a month."

WOW I am absolutely offended you would say this. I can't afford $10 and I work in a restaurant and get free meals so eating out is not the reason. All my money goes towards bills and my 2 kids. I don't/can't do anything extra with my money. For you to sit there and critize people because they can't afford it makes me sick..

A Karen/Ray post in response to the single mother who is having difficulty with the fees and no sales
Quote:Your last post does bring up an important topic: overdue accounts.

Four different requests have been sent this past month for payment to all sellers who are overdue: the initial invoice on 10/10, Late Notice number one on 10/23, Late Notice number two on 10/25, and Final Notice on 10/26.

If you are among this group currently delinquent, on 10/31, any sitewide accounts still grossly overdue at that time will be terminated and referred, so this is something that needs immediate attention before anything else to avoid both termination and the penalties associated with overdue account collection.

As noted, if among that group, once payment is completed, you may request closure at that time if necessary, or continue exchanging ideas and thoughts on how to grow your business, which we feel would be more appropriate for members who have fulfilled their User Agreement obligations Smile
  :blinkie:

One of the poppers followed up with a post after Karen with this:

Quote:First, I don't know how a person can sit in judgement on others when that person has not walked in their shoes.

Let me ask a question for those that sit in judgement...

Do you know what it is like to have to scrape up enough money to buy a 50 cent loaf of bread or a 10 cent pack of ramen noodles??? Well I do, I have been there!

I have also been on the very opposite side....I bought a house and had it paid for in 8 years.

Things in life happen to people whether it be of their own fault or no fault of their own. It's called "LIFE", but to sit and judge others when you know nothing about their life just makes me furious.

And now on to the post by Karen - WP Customer Care (wagglepopCC1)....

I feel that it is one thing here for a member to bring up their own account details here and if they are in good or bad standing, but for "CUSTOMER CARE" to post to this thread about their account is just WRONG!!!!

So now if any one out there wants to "flame" me go ahead, I am thick skinned and have very broad shoulders!!!

RR is just a pig, and we all know it.  None of this should be shocking.  It's just very sad for those who *can't* break away...

I'd say the single mom and greglat123 are walking on very thin ice with WP. And I love Karen's "respectful, courteous, constructive" post in an public forum regarding delinquent accounts that was obviously directed at a posting member. No real business, no matter how callous and crude would pull a stunt like that. Oh, but wait, WP ISN'T A BUSINESS -- it's a cult racket that resorts to the base tactic of public humiliation to keep members in line. As expected, more hypocricy. Bs

After the first WP, nothing the man does surprises me.  Make you want to puke?  Yes.  Surprised?  No.

Maroon.... >Sad

Laughing7 Paranoia anyone?
Quote:in reading the threads that the people that make the comments about how dumb others are only have 4 letters in their ID's?

I have read 4 threads today besides the two I posted in and ran across this occurance.. Only gripes and complaints.. After thinking about it, it struck me as kind of funny that they only have 4 letters that make no sense that I could figure out..

Maybe it's just me..

And it looks like some of the natives are getting restless on the Flopper, including at least one who was here once and didn't like some of the things said on this thread.  Thumbsup

According to rough calculations, there are at least 220 stores that have 20 items or less.
This should be interesting after Oct. 31st. Toothy9

Watch the numbers on Monday and Tuesday.  That will pretty well tell the story of how good RR's brainwashing has been.  Or not been.

Posts from the same thread:

The WTF "re-assuring" response from Karen to the single mom who is having trouble making it day to day. :

"Any business that is ultimately going to be successful must be able to weather the first few months (or even years), when building a customer base is more important than profitablity . . . We're building our customer base of both buyers and sellers, building our traffic and rank, and basically letting all of the things that make a business successful in the long run happen. "Profit" each month finanacially is secondary to that at this time . . . the biggest of the successful businesses think in terms of years, not weeks or a couple of months"

Translation: I hope you're ready to give me $10/mo for a very long time, possibly years, before you see any "profit."

Then Scott Vulgar chimes in with a snide put-down:

"There are lots of people here and more coming every day and they are staying longer. They might not be buying from you, but thats really a marketing issue and not a traffic issue. "

Translation: If you're not selling anything, it's because your a lazy F*#K and it's your fault. Note that Scott has a whopping 9 FBs, all from other WP store sellers.

Another reassuring comment from the "membership":

"I really want to reach out and try to help the WPers that aren't making sales to cover their fees and can't afford to otherwise, but there's part of me that feels that it may be best to just let some sellers go... it's becoming clear to me that some here just don't have what it takes (yet)"

Translation: To "have what it takes" you must be faithful and willing, without question, to hand over $10/mo to line Ray/Karen's pockets for a very long time, without seeing any profit, otherwise "good riddins"
