It's back. Somebody should clue them in that Ez.zi sucks as a host to use for either dedicated servers or co-location. :

"I can tell everyone now that by any standards it's going to be a truly impressive overall shift, from functionality to the more visible marketing strategy to some of the internal personnel and procedural changes.
Karen" More WTF cult character from WP. Because the congregation has the collective mentality of yesterday's mashed potatoes, it can be easily bedazzled with lofty-sounding mumbo-jumbo incorporated into run-on meaningless sentences containing polysyllabic words. This is simply another form of "speaking in tongues." The content is utter nonsense, but sounds pretty and the faithful are brought to their knees in awe. |

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Good Morning,
Some of you know who I am, maybe some of you don't. Before writing this, I spent a couple days reading every post on the thread. I'm not here to spam for WP, I'm not here to defend Ray, and I'm not here to try to change anyones mind. But if you want ALL of the facts, I would think that you need both sides of the story, so here I am. I'd like to address a couple of things. First, there is a LOT of really good information on this site. I'm hoping you don't try to run me out of town as I wouldn't mind sticking around and reading more of it. Second, I am very aware that I have stepped on many toes and that some of you here have an issue with me. If you want to talk about what I may have said or done to irk you, I am more than willing to discuss it if you are up for an exchange of ideas. Third, I'd like to clear up a couple of innaccuracies printed in this thread. 1. The email that was posted here by Alskling was sent by me to 12 people, 10 of which were family members. The two non-family members that I sent it to were people that I have a personal relationship with. There was no spamming or intimidation involved. Anybody that actually knows me, can tell you that. If Alskling wants to ask the person that sent it to her, she would confirm that I have her email address from personal communication, not from any illicit means. 2. As much as some of you don't like me, voting every hour in that contest was allowed under the rules. 3. Since Alskling is so good at retrieving old message board posts, I challenge her to produce a post where I call her products junk. I never did. While we had our share of discussions, I never called her product junk. 4. While you are all very protective of your own privacy, other peoples privacy doesn't seem to quite hold the same weight, and your claims of censorship seem to leave a bit to be desired. When it was determined that I was a member here and browsing the boards, my access to information was limited. I was unable to use the search function and I was unable to look at peoples profiles. I find that interesting. 5. I'm not Ray, I've never met Ray, I've never spoken to Ray, unless Karen is Ray (which is a distinct possibility) and then we have exchanged a few emails. Scott Bulger |

FYI, TT protects it's member's privacy by limiting access to profiles and to searches;only registered members can access these features. You were a lurker, not a member, if you couldn't access these features. Hope that helps. |

Scott.
Quote: Since Alskling is so good at retrieving old message board posts, I challenge her to produce a post where I call her products junk. Not speaking for Alskling here but, based on Ray's past performance, posts come and go and finding one may not be possible any more. He is known for deleting and creative editing. We've seen it in action. Quote:I was unable to use the search function and I was unable to look at peoples profiles. I can't answer to that but probably one of the admins will be along to explain that. I will say that most profiles will not contain much info anyway. Mine doesn't. Quote:I'm not Ray, I've never met Ray, I've never spoken to Ray, unless Karen is Ray (which is a distinct possibility) and then we have exchanged a few emails. Then can you explain to us why you seem to be so gungho for WP to the point of sometimes flaming (IMO) other poppers when they question WP's policies or decisions? That seems very strange to many of us if you have no history with Ray. WP offers very little. Why are you so enthused? |

BellisimaJ.,
I was a registered member. I could view them one day, and the next, I couldn't. Cranky, I haven't checked recently to see if the thread was still there, but it was not too long ago. I know many of you are not registered users and are therefore unable to read the boards at WP, but if anyone is interested, I would be happy to provide a url to the thread. I'm guhgho for WP because IMHO, when you are trying to make something work, there is simply no other way to be. Going into any endeavor half-hearted is a prescription for failure. My issue was always this, the boards are read by buyers as well as sellers. Some of these issues should have been handled privately, to keep them out of the buyers eyes. A buyer coming to the boards and reading about this is wrong and this doesn't work and complaint after complaint isn't going to have a good impression and isn't going to stay and buy. Many people have closed their store over there by just closing it and moving on. They didn't feel the need for big speech or announcement. If it isn't working for you, just move on. No need to try to bring everyone else down with you. I'm enthused, because I want to try to make it work. Simple as that. |

Quote:I was a registered member. I could view them one day, and the next, I couldn't. Your profile shows that you registered today. Can you view them now? You must have registered as a sock puppet. Perhaps as Infiltrator? That would be a reason to block you. In any event, the board belongs to TT Admin--they can do as they like, with or without your approval. Hope this helps. |

Quote:My issue was always this, the boards are read by buyers as well as sellers. If there truly has no problem with sellers bringing their "issues" to the board, then Ray could make the forum for sellers only. It doesn't look like he has many buyers interested in the forum anyway. Those of us who can view the forum have seen some not-too-nice things said to sellers who just asked questions...nothing to do with closing a store, just not content with the status quo. As for the referenced thread, as I already said, Ray believes in creative editing and I wouldn't trust anything on that board to be the original. |

Quote:I'm guhgho for WP because IMHO, when you are trying to make something work, there is simply no other way to be. That doesn't really answer the question "why wagglepop?" though. There are tons of options so why choose a site with a checkered past that gives its sellers very little or no info? How can one be so enthused about a site that has a CS (or owner) who talks in circles and believes in "spin" instead of real information? Edited to add: Gee. Where did you go, Scott? Were the questions too hard? : |
