Scott:
Good Morning,

        1. The email that was posted here by Alskling was sent by me to 12 people, 10 of which were family members. The two non-family members that I sent it to were people that I have a personal relationship with. There was no spamming or intimidation involved. Anybody that actually knows me, can tell you that. If Alskling wants to ask the person that sent it to her, she would confirm that I have her email address from personal communication, not from any illicit means.

        2.  As much as some of you don't like me, voting every hour in that contest was allowed under the rules.

Scott Bulger
First off, I have no idea what Scott is talking about in No. 1, unless it was an email he popagated soliciting votes on his behalf as the best photographer on MySpace with a direct link that placed a vote for him, although NOWHERE in the email was it stated that clicking on the link creates a vote and nowhere does it say how to be deleted from the mailing list I found myself on. Sounds like spam to me. How he got my email address is a mystery. I am certainly NOT a family member, nor a friend. And why he would even have the audacity to ask me to vote for him is an even greater mystery. Scott, more than anybody at WP, did way more than "step on" my toes. He was rude, crude, insulting, sarcastic, degrading, more than insinuated I was a liar and a thief, and attacked my business, work ethics and the quality and type of items I sell.

The following excerpt was part of the last post I wrote for WP, which was immediately deleted from the board only seconds before my account was suspended. Since WP does not allow posters to make direct reference to another member by name, I used the words "spotlight of your newsletter" to address Mr. Bulger.

"Some sellers have said that I must have been selling “junk” otherwise my items would sell (or at least get hits). Others said I must be in debt up to my eyeballs, be a poor business woman and need credit counseling or just plain too lazy to work. Another (the spotlight of your newsletter) attacked my business ethics in an open forum COMPLETELY UNCHECKED BY ANYBODY, and more than insinuated I am a liar and a cheat while the “friendly” community cheered him on and Karen ignored it. I was then chastised for being offended by his comments (I guess I was supposed to enjoy receiving them as he enjoyed making them). When I requested a public apology (as he did this in open forum) it was I (not he) that was twice reminded of the board policy and reprimanded for misbehavior."

Did Scott call me a liar and a thief? Yes, he did. Did he apologize? No, he did not. Did he accuse me of being a slackard, and that if I had no sales it was my fault for not working hard enough? Yes, he did. Did he apologize? No, he did not. Did he suggest my items were not marketable? Yes, he did, and in a very sarcastic way. Did he apologize? No, he did not. This, coming from someone with basically NO on-line selling experience to someone with nearly 9 years of experience and many thousands of transactions wordwide. Was he snide and condescending when I asked what Ray/Karen could be doing with $10K/mo in WP store fees? Yes, he was. Did he apologize? No. Did he say my posts were a waste because I only talk to myself? Yes, he did. Did he apologize? Yep. Was it sincere? Hardly. Did the WP board police ever step in to reprimant him? Never.

With regards to the contest, why don't you tell the whole story, Scott. Tell us about the voting "irregularities". And while you're at it, why don't you tell us about other "issues" MySpace had regarding your campaign you chose not to share with your WP Kumbaya buddies? I suppose you're going to accuse MySpace of being liars and cheats like you did with me. Why don't you also enlighten us on all the sales you've made to buyers outside your WP Kumbaya circle, and how you put link referrals on your listings, even though it was against WP policy at the time?

I can see why you're such a great disciple of Pope Ray, with your over-inflated egos and holier-than-thou, above-it-all attitudes.

No, the questions weren't too hard, I just went and had some lunch.

Well Alskling, you are right, you are not a family member or a friend. I didn't send the email to you, someone else sent it to you. Ask them not to send it to you any more.

I also never called you a liar or a thief. Again, if you can show me a post where I did, I would be happy to sincerely apologize.

Did I suggest that your items were unsellable, no, but I did suggest that womans size 11AAA shoes were a niche market. I would still think that they are.

Did I accuse you of being a slackard, no, but I believe I did say that you shouldn't be relying on WP to do your marketing for you.

Yes, BellisimaJ. I was registered under an alias while I read the thread and decided whether or not to post. It appears that most all of the others on here are registered as an alias. Now that I am posting, I re-registered under my real name. Why would registering under an alias be grounds for limited access?

Why WP? It was a start up and the smallest place out there where I could get the most visibilty without being buried under a million other listings. I did no homework with regards to the origins of the site. I took a chance. For $10 a month, I'll take a chance on it.

I agree that TT Admin can do as he/she wishes on the boards without my approval. Wouldn't the same go for the WP Admin on their boards?

Our user names may appear to be sock puppets to you, however, most of us have posted with TT Admin on other boards and they are fully aware of our identities.
Socks frequently cause problems. Askling can tell you that she was asked what her ebay id was when she first started posting here. Some socks look more sock-like than others.  8)Infriltrator was hardly very creative and certainly sounds troll-like.
Btw, your ip addr. probably gave away your identification. Particularly if you used a WP ip addy. Big Grin

Um, no. WP is a PAID service. They are nothing more than a venue.

Hope this helps. Smile

Btw, I don't for one minute believe that Askling is lying. I do believe that you are omitting information. Probably re your actual relationship to Ray/Karen. :Smile

"Alias" sounds so naughty.  Wink They are screen names, Scott. Some of us are women and would prefer to be safe by keeping our identity private. Most of us have businesses which we would like to protect from the internet trolls who frequent any and all message boards and sometimes don't care for our opinions.

Well, it's true you are not likely to be buried under millions of listings. But visibility? What visibility? Ray has done no promotion and if one were to hear of WP and Google it they would find tons of negative publicity. Hard to imagine the benefits in that.

BellisimaJ.,

Thanks for the response. If WP is should not be allowed to edit the Message Board because it is a paid service and therefore just a "venue", anyone that is a member of the site is responsible for his or her own results, correct?

I have no WP ip addy.

Hey, Scott? Did you know that Ray is the head of an IT company at a major college (with no record of his empoyment)?

Did you know Ray has a team of programmers hammering out a customized platform (boxed software with tech support)?

Did you know that he deleted the entire original email roster from Wagglepoop 1? (and then used it to bring people in for WP2)?

Did you know it's OK to throw tempter tantrums on all the major OAI boards?

Did you know spamming boards for advertising is an OK thing to do?

By all means, carry on.

Well said, Thentavius. Happy001

Quote:anyone that is a member of the site is responsible for his or her own results, correct

I really don't recall either results or editing of posts being mentioned by myself, but since you asked..........

1. Posts at Wp are edited to cover up customer dissatisfaction. Only for that, it appears.
And, since WP is paid to provide a service, their board should be open as are the boards of reputable venues. Even ebay tolerates quite a lot of dissension on it's boards.

2. Individual sellers are certainly responsible for their own results so long as WP has lived up to it's contractual agreements. If they committed to providing marketing, etc., then they are also responsible.

Does that answer your question, Scott? Big Grin
