JMO, but that is certainly my thinking. It just doesn't make sense. :blinkie:

Bell -- I revised my previous message. Even if the figures ARE real, they still suck.

Holy crap! I get sick for a few days and miss all THIS?  Smileyyellowbang I thought I had recovered from this flu until I read the Vulgar BS. Then it was back to Puke It's digusting to me to see a supposed grown man beg and grovel. What a phony vulgar is. And such arrogance! I'd love to put on that size 11AAA shoe and squash him like the little irritating bug that he is.
I did like seeing this though...

I agree ORUS. I thought Then's comments were quite appropriate. Regardless of the character (or lack thereof) of the business owner(s), the complete lack of professionalism, integrity, business acumen/positive track record, along with the absence of rational, transparent, achieveable, easily-understood business plan based on sound business sense and sensibilities that really gave me the greatest pause. My biggest mistake was in trying to legitimize WP as a business, when it isn't (although it professes that it is, which is a lie), and therefore doesn't behave like one. In fact, it is a cult-based pyramid scheme, where the only ones who reap benefits are the ones at the top. It's this "wolf in sheep's clothing" part about WP (or any other cult, for that matter) that really makes my eyeballs pop out.

When I asked him if he had been around for WP1, his response was essentially "um, no..."

He never responded to my post offering him an encyclopedia of knowledge about the first "explosion" over at OTWA--the one with delightful quips from Ray himself embedded.

Maybe he's still reading the long thread and seeing the implosion first hand. Heh.

Quote:Ray has given the impression he has a full staff, programmers etc.

Lies, again. Just like WP1. This is why we have this thread--so that history won't repeat itself (or at least so it will be documented for those with business curiosity).

His "staff" is himself, possibly his brother or wife, and the tech support customer service people for his boxed software.

You are right on and to the point which is why I posed the question of Ray's actual expenses and necessary staff to run WP. That way at least the truth is here on this thread for all the poppers who I know are lurking here.

Even the thread at OTWA surprised everyone because it got so large. That is why this thread has become large as well. I think of it like a public information warning to the unsuspecting seller community.

I doubt SB read the OTWA thread, the truth hurts too much. Better to live in the land of kumbaya denial, than acknowledge you have bought a ticket on the Titanic.
