Oh my, I may have new store in the making!!  Products that are freely collected and may have a market!!  Wonder if anyone would be interested in hairballs (not the  kind) and bellybutton lint!

So you didn't say what kind of store you had there.  What were you selling?

 

I sold/sell clothing. I do well at my other sites...just not a WP. But, like you, I was embarassed by the posts "begging" for sales.

Yes, I know you. lol Im Gigi. Yes, I was there during some of your "assult". That was ugly and everytime I complained about what happened to you and some others I was slapped down. I was finished with it all before that...but that was one of the reasons I left. Well, that and my bill.
I was told about this site from other xpooper-you know who they are. I only speak to one other pooper who has been drinking the koolaid and I think something else. lol Im gonna try to get them over here. If just so they can "tell their side" *tongue in cheek*.
I pretty much told Kar-ray to shove it too. I got the "we are gonna send you to a collection agency" email. Ummm...ok.
THEN, I got the "we are a trust based community" email. OMG!!!! After I wiped off my moniter and stopped laughing I was sort of offended.

Had to call my doctor...wasn't sure if I was having a relapse.

So, I guess no more meds for me. I'm fine. Just CERTAIN things/people make me feel  all over again. And then...as if some evil force took over my body because I was feeling so well...I read this....this is from the princess' warm & fuzzy post.

If there is something wrong or off-center in complimenting someone's hard work for turning out an attractive, enticing store and/or product then I have to be sent to the corner too. I've done this a few times because these dedicated sellers deserve the recognition. Maybe I'm not in the market to buy personally from them but I'll remember them and recommend their store to someone who is, which counts for something!

I get my warm fuzzy feeling in electronically reading of the happiness and excitement from sellers who hit milestones...that first store, that first logo, that first sale, that first 100 listings completed and many more. Because I relished them too. These are the baby steps we all must make before we can walk into success.

And I especially feel it with the great sellers I've had the experience to interact with and the stellar customer service they have given me. SELDOM did I experience this over thErE. But here...it has been the norm.

We certainly aren't eBay but how many of you realize that we are evolving into the genuine article of what eBay was once cherished for, and what so many sellers and buyers crave to experience again. We have to keep up our efforts of knitting the two together and eventually it will be a win/win for everyone.

...tiptoeing off my soapbox now...slipping back to obscurity...

I'm off to the sporting goods store. I need a punching bag.

OMG! This post sounds like a proud parent who's just congratulating his toddler for pooping in the pot instead of in his pants. Are these people so insecure, they need a parade and a brass band every time they do something like make a $2 sale? There is something seriously wrong with that business model.

If one more person posts over theRe I will scream I swear I will. It always reminds me of somebody whispering a secret to their little kindergarten friend. 
Princess's crown is on way too tight if she believes that WP can become the old Ebay. Poppers let it go, this will not be ebay old or new, move on, if you stay where you are the only thing you will evolve into is obscurity.
