Oh it looks like Ka/Ray is getting testy. No response to Race yet.

Quote:I'm not really sure what more I could add.

There's nothing cryptic about the posts above. There are firm timelines and plans outlined almost precisely.

I cannot imagine how we as a company could be any more responsive or "in tune" with membership needs.

All of your points in your most recent post will be fully adressed during the large sitewide upgrade, again, in mid-2007, and I'd like to add at great expense to ownership.

Perhaps I'm just confused about what you are asking, because I've re-read your posts several times, and I've addressed each of you concerns to the very best of my ability, which is my responsibility.

I think there may be a perception that making changes to a site of the scale of Wagglepop is easy, cheap, or fast, and in fact it's none of those things.

Nothing operates in a "vacuum", and a single bit of code that's improper or not properly implemented can affect the entire site negatively. All changes must support the existing structures, while allowing for further growth.

As noted, I am not sure what more I can add beyond what I have stated, I think, rather clearly.

Changes? Yes, mid-2007.

Marketing? Yes, mid-2007.

Some smaller stuff in between now and then, but the major shift will be in that general second to third quarter of 2007, hence the "mid" terminology Smile

Karen - WP Customer Care

Oh and those improper codes in your boxed auction site software can kill you too. Just look at the glitches from WP1 where the photos from one auction showed up on someone else's auction.  Happy001

Your "revolutionary" rscript auction script was on sale for $518 when you bought it.  :Smile
Your "revolutionary" RevSense/WP AdSmart script cost you $99.  :Smile

Quote:Oh, one more thing. I mentioned something about WP to people who buy online all the time and they never heard if it. It seems that most people find out about WP thru the e boards. If someone doesn't paticipate on the e boards, they won't hear about you (unless you do your own advertising of course). I sold on e for a long time and never visited the boards even once. Just some food for thought.

A great post on the WP boards, I didn't capture all of it but this piece is priceless  Toothy9

Quote:But I believe its time the owner posted here to give us some re-assurance. I think its time R** signed his posts as R** and not as Karen. The content of some of the posts from Karen are posts that would be posted by the owner. Come RR come out of your shell and let us know that you are actually here. I'm sure a lot of people would like to hear from you. You want us to believe in WP I think it's time you were honest with us and let us know that you are here and are in control of WP. If you all want to jump on me for this post that's fine, I'm posting my feelings that I have had for quite a while and because of the way some posts are being re-acted to, I haven't. Nobody should be afraid to post there feelings on this board. I am paying my fees when they are due, I pay my FVF fees when something sells, I should be able to post whenever I have a concern about WP or want to discuss a WP module where there is a problem that needs to be corrected or upgraded ASAP

I need the exact language in the WP user agreement that authorizes WP to charge its departing store-owners an "exit fee" when said owners close their stores.

If you have this language, please copy and paste it here. I promise to make "interesting"
use of the information.

Thank you very much.

I can't find the exact language for you as this info is buried somewhere. What I remember about this situation is that Karen stated that the Smart Seller Pro is free with a store subscription. Once the store is closed they do not prorate you for the smart seller pro fee and you have to pay that. It has happened to many people who closed their store, and it has never been clearly spelled out anywhere in their terms of service that I can find. Someone else may be able to give you the exact answer here shortly.

Not a die hard popper, only there with eyes and ears wide open.
