Quote:Sweet Girl, tell toadgirl she rocks, and to get herself over here and join. She will also be able to pick up valuable info on all kinds of great information.
Quote:Sweet Girl ~ I'm glad Thanksgiving will be non-violent, lol. It may have taken her a few days to see the light, but if you hadn't planted that initial seed of doubt in her mind, she may not have vigorously questioned from the start and may have wasted money, not just time.

Thanks you two for your words to Toadgirl, I will pass them on.  I will let her read the information here and see what she thinks about joining.

Darn, I was hoping for a fight on  :turkey3:!!  It has gotten kinda boring over the years, everyone is older and we all fall asleep after dinner,  Sleepy1

Now I will have to come up with some other activity  :Smile  Big Grin

FOOD FIGHT!!  Headbang

Well it appears the cheerleaders are coming out in full force with the rah rah! K you doing such a wonderful job.  We love Wp.  We support you 150%..  Ray must just love to read those posts, I wonder if anyone is being paid to post these sooooooooo postive comments.  I also find it interesting that today is the first day that any other names other than K have been even mentioned as working there.  Why did she feel that today they would drag in a couple more names.  Poor K she can't handle it herself anymore.  Too much pressure?  I don't know what to do??  They had to bring in some bouncers to settle down the disruption on these boards.  This is sooooooo starting to sound like WP1 that it isn't even funny.  Some of these cheerleaders are just unbelievable, they will never see or say anything negative.  I think maybe there are a few that have had their eyes opened but still not enough.  It's so obvious they do not want any more negative comments.  Pull the posts, delete posts, the pink slaps are coming.  I wonder if they stayed up all night dreaming up the new posting guidelines that MUST be followed.  They might just as well have said don't bother posting, there is nothing to discuss, we are not answering any more questions, we are not discussing anything else to do with WP.  He is digging himself in deeper and deeper but I guess the cheerleaders will be there to pull him out.  Any form of honesty will not be tolerated, there will be no freedom of speech.

Quote:Owners of legitimate businesses are proud of what they do, who they are, and want everybody to know about it. Not Ray. Not allowing Poppers to advertise the WP name and not investing in outside advertising (which is a very small investment on the net, as other poppers have discovered) has as much to do with Ray not wanting to be "discovered" as it has to do with putting money in his pocket and his pocket alone.

Alskling, back when I had a store I questioned the lack of information about the owner of WP.  I said something along the lines of, Don't you find it strange that there isn't a company page or the name of the owner of WP anywhere.  Personally I would take pride in my business and give some background information about myself, why I opened my site and my vision.  I too was shut down.

Of course, that was quite a while ago and MDToys was asking the same things.  MD got shut down a lot and was attacked on a regular basis.

I was happy to see some expoppers on the boards last night and the night before.  Such as Fab.  She was a big Wp supporter at one time and then she just disappeared.  I am glad she realized that her business wasn't going to do well on WP.  I really liked her posts and sense of humor.  (Fab if you are here congrats on getting out of that TRUST based place)

I wanted to comment on the meaning of Trust.  After receiving Toadgirl's email I really understood the Trust Based community better.
The definition she sent just jumped at me!
Quote:Trust (sociology), the willing acceptance of one's power to affect another

Ray is asserting his power to willfull participants and affecting their desire to have a store in a profitable environment.  He has them under his thumb and is squeezing the life out of them.  :blinkie:

Snuggly,
Do you remember a while back someone asked about Christine on the WP boards?  Karen didn't really respond, just ignored that question, oh wait that is her job  Happy001 Happy001 ignoring questions!  Wonder what she will be doing now that nobody is allowed to ask questions?

Ray is just giving the impression of additional employees.  Remember he is in his pink bathrobe and slippers typing away pretending to be Karen.  The cat is Christine and Andrew is his Christmas cactus!  Tongue3
Good bye all

Absolutely dead on, Puppy. The most successful businesses encourage independent, critical thinking, creative license, bringing new ideas to the table, freedom of expression, open forums to air and resolve concerns, and on and on. But then ...

WAG-L-POOP IS NOT A BUSINESS

yes SweetGirl:  I certainly do remember that post.  You are so right she completely ignored the question, didn't even try to.  It seems that it's a crime to mention anyone's name that is on the WP staff.  What's with all the secrecy.  Oh well I guess we'll never know the answer to a lot of questions.  Don't ask any more questions, we are not here to answer questions or try to co-operate in any way, we are only here to line our pockets.  End of story.

Actually, a while back they claimed 700 stores was the break even point with some employees working without compensation(doubtful).  I wonder how they can now afford additional employees with the number of stores at 698 unless they are family members or fictional as you suggest.
Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly

Can we come up with another name for Waggle Poop.  I keep picturing Ray in his bathrobe, looking at the dog and its trusty little tail wagging and hitting the poop he hasn't cleaned up in months and saying to himself, "I finally have a name for my cult!!"

If I scramble the letters I come up with:
PaggleWoop and Low Egg Pop
Darn I was never very good at that kind of thing  Tongue2

Well, they're throwing  Smileykoolaid all over my new posts, so the threads keeping going down, down, down.  Won't be long until they are gone.  Protest

Well, obviously, the truth hurts.  It's like a ghost town over in poopland.

Since I have no karma, could somebody pass me a beer?
