Sweet Girl -- I remember MDToys. He and I had a few private chats. It was he who originally asked if he could use the WP name on business cards and such and never received a response. When he did a search on the name, he discovered it was registered the day after his inquiry and the only personal information given on the registration was a cell phone number. This freaked him out totally and he closed his store and blew that Koolaid stand a couple days later.

Finally, a helpful popper tells me how to spam craig's list when I asked:

Quote:To prevent ad pulls from craigslist members:

1) Do not include your store URL in the ad. Use a posting logo to direct buyers.
2) Don't duplicate your ads. Feature a different item in each ad.

This is what I learned from having ads rejected and pulled...over and over again.

Finethings4u, good for you!!!  Ask questions, compliment karen and you never know you might get a BIG smiley!!  Tongue8

snuggly and kabong, do you really think there is anyone other than Ray?  Funny when you think back at the questions that have been asked over time that almost none of them have received responses, at least coherent ones Big Grin

Alskling, yes!!!  It was him that asked about business cards.  He is the one that initially sent me here.  He was so freaked by the information he found here!
Good bye all

I haven't heard her statement lately, and I quote:  "I have made a note of that and will bring it up at tomorrow's morning staff meeting".  I guess the meetings got banned also, joke, joke.  How do you have a staff meeting with one person in the room????

My questions were always answered by Alskling.  I always tried to support and answer hers.  We were both blasted at one time or another by SB and, if I remember correctly, FAB slapped me a few times.  Now, obviously, she has changed her tune.  Who knows who will turn next.

What's really sick on wp, now, is the realization that 75% of the original store owners still believe in this jerk, and can't see what they've gotten into.  And they seem to be reveling in being manipulated and emotionally abused.  It's really rather shocking how these folks seem to thrive on the restrictions being placed on them.

RR is going after only those who are stupid and ignorant enough to follow.  Only those who thrive on repression.  And there may be just enough of those to give him a nice income for a good many more months.

Nice fellow.  Actually worse than we even witnessed on WP1, considering it's a different m.o.

But now that the tide has started to turn, somewhat, and the dissenters start to voice their concerns, editing and suspension are the tools of choice for Karay.  How long do you think he can hold out before he starts ranting and raving?  I see cracks starting in the updated rules for posting.  My guess, he'll hang on long enough to pay off whatever debt it is he owes, gets the car, takes the tropical vacation.  Then, he'll blast his supporters and leave them in the dust until WP3 gets off the ground.

Star,
I am beginning to think that those who stick around like defined structure and firm rules and they can't function without them.  That is why they get drawn into Rays web.

Alskling, Fab did come down on you a few times and me too.  The koolaid was pretty strong then.  I don't even know her I was just so shocked and happy to see that she stopped drinking the koolaid and got out!
Good bye all

Ray is like the baaad relationship many people have had at one time. You know there is something wrong with the person but you don't listen to your instincts, you rationalize it all away, then you get deeper into the relationship and the person really shows their true colors, but you still stay because you have made a commitment, or this time you need this relationship to work out maybe to prove something to yourself.  Eventually something happens an "aha" moment and you get the hell out of dodge. It is very hard for people to admit they made a mistake, that they trusted someone they shouldn't have. The biggest mistake any popper will make is that they stayed too long in a bad relationship, and didn't trust their instincts.

Don't forget the wig, heavy make-up and falsies. Think of Tootsie.  :blinkie:

Sweetgirl you could call it wag the dog. Maybe we should call Ray Raybil for all those alter ego personalities.  Happy001

TRANSLATON OF KAREN'S POST: "Great! Any way you guys want to finance advertising and put in the time and effort without us spending a dime or lifting a finger, yet still helps Ray and I get rich is just dandy with us."
The longer I am there, the more I believe this.  Initially, I thought they would slowly introduce some advertising, but they haven't done a thing. Its incredible to me that they won't even invest $1000 for advertising. Heck, they could easily purchase 1,000 custom bumper stickers for WP sellers for about $350 which only takes a 3 to 5 days for production.
Actually, they could spend $701 and have them made for each of the stores... SEE?  I saved them $299 already!  I am an accounting genius!!! Happy001 Happy001 Happy001
