RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
This morning I go on the boards at Pop Land, see that Karen answered a question fast, then noticed that she disclosed a seller's financial information. I bring it to her attention, and I get my hand slapped, threatened to be kicked off and talked down to. Then I see it is not the first time she has disclosed financial information on the boards for all to see.

That is just wrong and a clear violation of their policies. I am sitting here is shock....I just can't believe she has the audacity to violate the policy, but instead of thanking me for showing her she violated policy, she reprimanded me, threatened me, removed my post, and edited her post so no one would see what she did. AND IT ISN'T A ONE TIME THING  :o

Every seller there needs to know what is going on.

THEN, you're a philosophical genius, and a gentleman. Thank you for your thoughtful, respective comments. You address the issues and speak to them directly, insightfully, and with decorim. Sorry, I had to say that. I'm not given to name calling and insults (except in the case of Mr. Vulgar who is a total asshat because of his ungrounded and unprovoked insults and accusations on the WP boards. Nobody attacks my character without a fight.), and I try to stick to the facts as well. I call it as I see it and analyze accordingly.  WP is a lie -- a spuedo e-commercie site. Posting personal financial information on a public forum is not only rude (and hypocritical, in WP's case) but illegal and without professinal demeanor, giving credence to the thesis that WP is NOT a business. NO GENUINE BUSINESS would even dare to do this for fear of being sued under the US Privacy Act.  Not to mention that this burp in judgment violated its own policies. Iluvpostcards, or whoever it was who originally posted about the AdSmart crediting, has every right to sue the pants off of Ray. Ray is living on borrowed time. Any attorneys out there? Here is your invitation to glory.

Race the post is on the selling board, and Alskling I was thinking the exact same thing, this has to be illegal in some way, even if the legality were to be found in Ray's violation of his own policies regarding privacy and disclosure. Not only that but this seller tells karen, hey I don't owe you any money. WTH is wrong with this guy??? Also what does it mean in the policy about your medical information being kept private? This is a so called auction venue not a doctor's office. What kind of medical info. would Ray even have access to?

Quote:Am I understand the click thing right.. we pay 10 cents anybody comes to our page PLUS the montly fees to list here. I have have 150 people look so that would be 15 dollars plus..our montly fees. of 10 dollars per month. That is bringing us back in line with the other place in line of cost...At least there I got sells... oh well
from yyna late yesterday.

Finally, someone has figured out adsmart and the post lasted a whole day.  Nobody else must have seen it.

I'm almost willing to bet it won't last too much longer. I know Karen reads this thread. In one of her emails to me, she didn't come right out and say it, but the way she worded something confirmed to me that she reads it.

I noticed another post that will probably be pulled. I don't want to point it out yet. It is a post that they all need to see.

Hey, Karen and Ray  Wave

Look, I was wondering about your item counts.  It is kind of sad that the sellers are re-listing Halloween merchandise at full price just to keep your listing counts up.  Could you please ask them to at least move them to the clearance department so I don't have to look at pumpkins and costumes when I'm browsing?  I do have money and I do shop.  Just a helpful suggestion that you would probably blast from the boards.

Hey all.. thought I'd see if anything interesting happened since earlier, lol. My family is having our 'official' Thanksgiving tomorrow since my brother had to work today, so my mom invited me over for dinner (my kids are at their dad's house so I was lonely, lol). Holy crap I'm full and I get to do it again tomorrow - YIPPEE!!!

Hey Race, I wouldn't mind a copy of that also. I'm memorializing all the latest gems on my blog, lol. In fact, I think I might dedicate a page rather than just a post to WP. The longer I watch the train wreck the more the whole thing pisses me off. HOW could I have been so stupid to actually have opened a store there?? UGH!!

Feel free to leave comments! The more references to WP, the more visitors from Technorati/Google etc, lol. I've had bunches today  Lol
