I've got the feeling that the inquiring buyer SirBuysAlot knows exactly what he/she is doing. In a very clever way, they are exposing the flaws in a system that should e a high priority to serious sellers looking for traffic. Kudos to their tactics!!
[/quote]

I was thinking that myself.

And as far as expensive lesson? Sadly, no one will learn from it. The sellers are so drunk on KoolAid they just don't get it and Karen/Ray, well, we know he/she/they/it couldn't care less about sales. It almost seems to get more bizarre everyday. The answers spouted by CS just DON'T make business sense let alone rational sense. I mean, ok, we've figured this isn't a business, but there seems to be those there that truly do. Even given that, you would think some of these people would really start scratching their heads and saying WTF is wrong here???

Off to gorge myself on Pecan Bourbon Pie!!!!!!

Quote:Sounds like buyers have to do a lot of work on their end just to do a simple search for the item they are interested in.
It should be easier than that or they will just give up and go away. I really don't think all of them will be coming to the forums to search for the step by step procedure.

EXCELLENT RESPONSE

Overhead, all the posters both old and new provide insight and are valuable. Just think how it feels to realize you are not alone, and that none of this nonsense is your fault, nor is it your imagination that something was not right on WP. Besides sweetgirl, cash, alskling, and myself were getting lonely.  Toothy2

I too read every piece of info on WP that was online, I lurked on TT for months prior to posting. I have watched both with disgust and fascination at WP every since my friends were mistreated and pulled up stakes. They saved me from opening a store, and I felt that one good turn deserves another, so here I am.  Thumbsup

Reading the posts on the boards at Pop Land and here opened my eyes as well. I was one of the lucky ones that didn't open a store before doing my research. I will do what I can to try to open the eyes of others as well.

If I was a seller there (but I sure am glad I'm not!!) and I had an XBOX 360 sitting around, I would have already listed it. I wouldn't wait till someone asked if anyone had one.

That is one great thinking seller  Happy001 Happy001 Happy001

Ah...racedreamer,

Is it new in box or did the seller advertise it as used, then yanked it off their sons computer and promised Santa would bring them something better. Act of desperation for the sake of a sale?

Damn I wish I could lurk...
