Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens

I may get flamed for saying this, but I think part of the problem is that many potential Wagglepop sellers are still just 'sitting on the sidelines' waiting to see what happens here instead of making their inventory available for buyers to find when they come here looking for it. We certainly will do as much as we can as fast as we can to make a wider selection of items available, and I do appreciate that you came here to post what you're looking for.

Well, on the bright side... didn't this same poster mention a couple of weeks ago that thousands of sellers were waiting in the wings to sell on WP?  Now it's down to "many"... (I think even THAT's a stretch of the mind!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D)

Geez, now there are four X Box 360's listed - all from the same seller in New York.  Two will ship for only $53.00 and the other two ship for $29.00.  One is an auction starting at $99.99 and has a bid from another seller.  that money down the toilet.

Don't these people stop to think that the buyer who was asking about this is long gone??  Wouldn't it have been prudent for them to list them "BEFORE" someone came looking for one?

They still get bids/"sells" LOL on the ones they just listed but a little forethought in sales helps a lot!!! LOL

This is EXACTLY the kind of thinking I would do on the WP boards. I would even go so far as to extrapolate how long it would take any particular item to get any chance at all of selling, according to K/R's own numbers, and came up with something like 2 years. Karen replied that I was a victim of "MAJOR E-BAY THINK", (her bold, even) and proceeded with a verbatim sermon extolling the virtues of WP's single fee system that she gave a month prior. When I pointed out that she simply "cut 'n' pasted" her original sermon, my post was deleted.

IS THIS FOR REAL? This is like telling the existing sellers that it will take 4-6 years for any of their own items to sell, because according to WP-think, the categories must be populated FIRST before buyers will be attracted to the site. What sane seller would be willing to do that? It also places blame on the "non-participated" sellers if the site fails because they chose not to get involved in a non-business, cult site, and the sellers who stick around all that time waiting for Godot never sell a single item because of this decision on their part. Hello, sellers. Go join the "Flat Earth Society". Although their conclusions are false, there's at least some logic in their premise.

I think this deserves further clarification.

I've re-read the exchange to be sure I understand clearly your concerns, but can find nothing overtly objectionable.

The account balance details and dates were posted by the original poster. We were simply responding as accurately as possible in reference to that.

The information about timelines, mimimum standards for payment, and how to make payment was worthwhile and useful information for all members to read.

Of course, if we had posted that information about the specific balance autonomously we would clearly understand that being an issue, but that is simply not the case in this instance.

It's just a very basic question and answer type exchange, typical of the daily board activities

This is why the listings are going up, and the replies to this post are a whole bunch of the cheerleaders jumping in and listing, listing, listing!!!

Hello Poppers, Just thought I'd throw this out there. It's a way that I motivate myself to do more listings. Take a look at the list of stores, and see where you are. Now challenge yourself to have as many listings as the store right above you. Don't look at the number at the very top, and think "wow, I'll never have xxxx listings". BTW, I do commend the top lister, that was a BUNCH of work !!
Example: Right now, I'm chasing Bob. Here's the catch. Bob is still adding listings, so I have to keep it close, right? This way it seems more like baby steps. It's easier to think about doing 10 listings at a time than to think about doing 500. Sounds simple enough, right? Give it a try, or post what ideas you have/use to stay motivated.
