Karen may not have said it, but she sure didn't hop in there and remind that seller that constructive and courteous posting is the only kind that will be tolerated.

Great management system you've got there Ray.

Race & Eclectica -- So noted. Sorry about that. For all we know, half the cheerleaders could be K/R alter egos anyway.

Alskling, you're probably right. For all we know ALL the sellers left on WP are one person  Lol

Lately KaRay is only reprimanding non-sellers and just a few sellers. Looks like the majority of the sellers that say negative things are left alone.  They can say whatever they want to buyers and non-productive sellers (those that have less than xxx amount of items in their inventory Icon_scratch

racedream,

I was seller #8 or 9 based on items listed when I got booted. I checked the total items listed on psu the next day and they dropped by 532. Rays count never dropped. I have since found about 25% of my items are still there and counted (they don't show up unless you do a search by item #).

I was in that xxxx number of listings but it still didn't stop them from booting me. I just wanted to make it clear it doesn't matter how many listings you have. If you don't agree you will get booted and they will keep your listings going for the better good of the borg collective.

So if any sellers reading this thread don't be fooled or feel secure by your item count.

new sales report #'s are in

11/20 to 11/26            608                982              1590 (needed 2002 to continue growth)

shows a 6%+ decrease from 4 weeks to 4 weeks prior.

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
The enforcement of WP rules and censorship is purely descretionary and selective, depending on who's saying what and to whom. When Mr. Vulgar called me a liar and a thief, made fun of my items, tried to assassinate my character and my business, insulted and humiliated me by saying nobody listens to me but myself, and more -- in post after post -- K/R NEVER stepped in to "remind" him of the board rules. On the contrary, his behavior was condoned by K/R to a background of cheers. When I requested an apology it was I, not he, that got the public whipping by K/R. When another seller suggested I must be selling "junk" otherwise my items would sell, there was no intervention by K/R. Yet when I asked what I was getting from WP that a dozen other sites couldn't provide for free, my post was pulled and I got another hand slap. I could go on and on. One seller's post was pulled simply because he/she had my pulled post in the mention. Go figure?

In short, anyone (including K/R) can pretty much say whatever nasty, condescending, rude thing they want (be they buyers or sellers) as long as it's nasty in support of the cause and is aimed toward putting down dissenters and/or business questions.

Regarding listings: Many x-poppers have confirmed that their listing numbers stay on the tote boards, even though they had blown the pop stand. I can't confirm this personally, as I trashed all my listing numbers before I left.

Love to see the explanation for that. Although the Poppers will have already forgotten that Karen told them to look at monthly, not weekly, trends. Since the week to week sales figure is up slightly, they'll be clinking KoolAid glasses and handing out rounds of donuts.

Edited to add: Did you notice that Karen has not made the announcement yet? Maybe worried that some sellers will pull out their own calculator?

This is 2 weeks in a row that KaRay hasn't posted the sales report on the boards. Last week, a member brought it up in the AdSmart thread, I questioned it, and got slapped and threatened.

Interesting. You'd think that simple omission alone would have some people wondering WTH is up. Especially since they were holding weekly parties following the announcements.
