RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Just thought I'd share this new WP post:

"I got an email from one of my customers, here is what it said:

I just signed up for wagglepop because I started noticing the prices steadily rising on Ebay. I know this site was new and was worried about buying something. I finally bought something and it is so refreshing to see that customer service is not dead. Thank you for your email with your contact information, information on the mailing of my item and most impressive of all, the tracking number. I can see that wagglepop really cares about their customers. Thank you again, P. R. from West Virginia.

I think she likes us, Smile."

(I put in bolds). Now, I don't know about other sellers here, but I've been doing all this since 1998. Hello?

I wonder how long it will take them to question why the sales report hasn't been posted yet. It will be interesting to see if anyone questions the 'fuzzy' way they calculate the numbers. They show a rise in weekly listings, but month to month shows a loss.

10/02 - 10/29  (4 weeks)= 6470
10/30 - 11/26  (4 weeks)= 6058
    412 less sales

Alskling, I have noticed a few posts like that. It gets posted, pats on the back and 'way to go' gets praised to the seller that posted it.

I've been buying (and selling with a friend) for many years on EBay and other sites. All the sellers I've bought from included that information on any correspondence to me regarding the sale. And when we sell items, that information is given to the buyer.

And these sellers on Pop Land act like it is something new and unique to Pop Land. Give me a break.

And it would appear that this buyer doesn't fully understand that Wagglepop has NOTHING to do with the customers. Actually, it would appear the seller didn't get that either - it was HIS work that paid off, not PopLands. I don't congratulate eBay on a job well done when I buy something.

Until the closed auctions can be viewed there is no legitimate or verifiable proof of the actual sales on WP. Ray has complete control over all information regarding WP, and total control of the software program itself. He could register multiple id's, stores, and manipulate the data any way he choses. There is no transparency, no disclosure, nada, zip, zero.

When you withold important information from the members, there is no way to make sound rational decisions, because you have nothing but misinformation. Ray has lied and manipulated for so long, that he is tripping over his own statements.  :blinkie:

One interesting fact about cults is that the leader eventually gains enough control that the followers will behave and treat other followers who appear to be straying from the flock with the same mind control techniques that the leader uses. They become the leader's bodyguards.  Tongue2

The only thing wagglepop cares about is filling their bank account with the sellers money.

Thank you, Belle

Race the one way that Ray can guarantee that cash flow is to razzle dazzle, lie, manipulate and con people. He is also totally relying on the anger, and outrage of Ebay sellers who are looking for alternatives. He even planned and waited for ebay to screw up, which they did with the fee hike. He is anticipating another mass exodus sometime next year, which explains his mumbo jumbo about WP making
"big" changes in mid 2007.  :Smile

Exactly! Should we all thank a company because there happens to be one person working there capable of doing his/her job? "Golly gee, thank you, Mobile Petroleum, it's so refreshing to have a gas station attendant at your full service station here how knows how to pump gas and check the air in my tires."

Bodyguards, disciples and principle recruiters. In some other cults they're known as henchmen, "contractors", gestapo and the SS.

Alskling, where is this full service station of which you speak? My gas station attendant is my hubby.  Happy001
I do however thank him for the service.  Toothy9
