Quote:Hi, let me explain what I need exactly. My cousin are having a wedding and I'd like to make a present for them. I'd like your item in the gift wrap with a card inside for a bride/groom. Also I want you to send $900 via Western Union ( www.westernunion.com) to them as an additional part of my present. The only problem is I want to make them surprised and don't want them to know that the present is from me. I'll pay for your item, packaging, Western Union and PayPal fees via PayPal. Please let me know if you could help me with that! I want you to ship everything to them directly and to send the money present via Western Union. I could even pay you for a trouble let's say $200 - please understand it's very important for me! I hope to hear from you soon!FROM: Quote:mom239" |

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
To copy from another poster....
Quote:It's time I properly introduced myself now that I've burnt my bridges. This is my testemonial. I hope you have all accepted that I came with genuine intent. I am not making fun, I copied that because she said it so well. I too am an ex pooper. I know you all knew that, but when I tell you who I was on that digusting site, you will laugh, say things like "no shi!?" and whoooaaaa.... But first, sherrand, I promise to never put your name on my punching bag again. I'm really sorry. I have put the bag away. Your post made me come out of the closet so to speak. Asklin, your shoe post in poopland was the final straw for me and I closed my store I think the same day you did. You already know who I am, and just for the record FineThings4U, I am no longer hiding anymore either. I feel bad for not saying who I was earlier, but I'm extremely embarrassed by my posts on that site. I HOPE I never see them here. It would emabarrass me enough to never come back I think. Here is mine, and by the way, it's 4:40am, I've been up for well over 24 hours, and lack of sleep is like a truth serum for me, unfortunately. *L* Anyways.... So there I was on ebay. It was the only selling venue I had ever heard of. Yes, I'm a grandmother still figuring out this whole high tech arena. As of right now, I have 37 whole feedbacks, at 100% on ebay. I know, that's nothing, but it's what I have. I listed a few bizarre items and that's how I found poopland. Another ebayer was selling something in the bizarre area as well, touting poopland, so I questioned her. She told me it was the best thing going. (I'd take the bag back out for her.) So instead of doing the right thing, by at least googling it, I went straight to the land of shi! I signed up, thought it was cool that it looked like ebay, therefore I had no problem manuevering the site. So there I was with this summer camp full of cheerleaders. All positive, welcoming me like crazy. There are only 2 people on this site that know this next secret and I want to thank them both for not saying anything about it. But I'm going to let it all out...(I must be exhausted to be doing this! *lol*) Ok.....*deep breath*....I have a son that is a freshman in college. Great kid. Wants to be a code writer, whatever that is. I sort of know, but it's too techy for me. Anyways, here I was...falling for all this BS over there, and had a thought. Yes, it really IS dangerous in my mind at times. I thought...why couldn't my son advertise on his vehicle like I have seen others do on ebay? I asked my son if this was something he would be interested in doing. He said he would if he got paid to do it to help him with college expenses. He wrote up this whole plan of all the different things he could do to advertise, and it was all really great creative stuff. Soooooooo....I emailed the Borg. We emailed quite a few times actually, about this. "It" (being the borg) told me that it would bring this subject up in their next "board" meeting. The next few emails were of it telling me to make sure to email them as soon as poopland opens their store of tee shirts, hats etc. so that they could get some merchandise out to my son. Um...yeah....I fell for it. Every few weeks I'd email and ask when their store would be open. I'd always get this cheery response and telling me to make sure I didn't forget to email them when I saw their "store" open with merchandise. In the meantime, I was a cheerleader. Gawd this makes me want to HURL in the worst way! Anyways...*more deep breaths*...and yes...I know, get to the point already! Ok ok...soooo....I'm cheering away, thinking my son is going to have fun with this, mistakenly thinking everyone was so nice & friendly until...I had an idea. This is where some of you will say HOLY SHI! I posted a listing on ebay. I touted poopland and made fun of ebay for their high fees. And I used someone very famous to tout it. Yep....that was me. "Barbie moved to WP". I personally thought it was very clever, but of course I then wished I had been that clever elsewhere after I closed my doors over there. Ok, so I had this listing up. It ended up really becoming a huge mess. I didn't know...and yes, this sounds sooo retarded...but I honestly didn't know that if you have a listing on ebay, someone could bid a price and really not pay it if the owner didn't make them. I was so excited that a lot of people thought my listing was pretty cool, that I fell into this thing where a bunch of them bid up into the thousands and I didn't think twice about them not really paying it, because it was suppose to be all about the advertisement. I was PM'd like crazy explaining the way it would work, so I shrugged my shoulders and said ok. There were over 7000 lookers in the 3 different times I listed it. It kept getting pulled because I would put shi!lands real name on it, or some other obvious no-no. And then the scare tactics began. Someone told me I could get in legal trouble for what I was doing. A few others agreed with her, especially her side kick the princess, well...actually, the princess agreed, then didn't, then did, then didn't... but man...you should have heard the PMs I received making fun of the naysayers. It was pretty funny at the time. By now, this thing had ran for 3 weeks, getting pulled 3 times, and I was a little tired of relisting it anyways, so I pulled it the last time. A month later, ebay wanted to charge me 110.00 for that listing that never sold for the thousands it was bid up to. I got on their live help thing with advice from another person now on this thread and ebay erased the charge. Hard lesson learned. And Scott Vulgar...that POS...he came on after seeing the first listing of it saying something to the effect of..."is this the kind of publicity we want?" I wanted to punch him in the throat the MOST. Arrogant bas....nevermind. So afterwards...for the few weeks that I could stand it, I was the black sheep and admitted to knowing that I was & didn't care. And I really didn't, but I DID care that I wasn't having any sales. I said some REALLY stupid things about being the black sheep...I swear if I see it again I'll just die. Well...not not actually die...but, you know. And some of it...I said at the urgings of some others even though I knew I shouldn't have, but I did. So I'm responsible for every stupid word under my name. That's also when I realized there were more cliques on that site than what is seen on the boards. There was a group of us that hated a lot of them because they sounded so phony. We use to make fun of them in our PM's as I know they did to us. Very childlike, I know. I became real tired of that as well. So, I began to figure it all out. The only buyers were other sellers. Screw all that. I wanted real business. I didn't have products that I was willing to sell for 99 cents. I didn't sell cheap garbage. And I've never had to buy friends or feedback. But the very worst thing I experienced, was telling my son that shi!land was a waste of time, diminishing his hopes and seeing the disappointment on his face, that his great ideas, (and they really were) just go right down the drain. I'm fixing that, I'm going to pay him to advertise my web page on microsoft just as soon as it becomes a site where people can buy off of it as is planned. I have the web page, just waiting for the change. He's in classes with all the smart computer kids and hangs out with the athletes...everyone at that school and their families will know my web page name. FineThings4U, my son will be taking one of those business classes next semester that we talked about. And he is going to do his final on shi!land and "what not to do" in business per your advice. He too thinks it will make a great paper. He says for me to thank you very much for the great idea. He lurks on WP too now, and wishes he could send the single mothers like his own, his paper when it's done. But that won't be until next year, I seriously doubt if that site will exist, giving him the perfect ending to his paper. Ok, last chapter. So when I left there, I was hateful, felt scorned, and beyond embarrassed by pathetic things I had said for all the world to see. I closed my store with an attitude from the Borgmeister and started up my web page along with selling at other venues. If I knew how to do my own web site, I would give it a shot too. I'm researching FIRST this time around. Of course, can't understand half the stuff I'm reading, but it's being explained to me....slowly. *lol* So Asklin & FineThings4U, thank you, for everything. T....you know who you are, you're the best, and thanks again for being the very final push for me to leave there. You taught me, and are still teaching me, about how to do my web page. And my wallet thanks you too! I've been having fun on this site, learning a TON of things so thank you to the people here that know what their doing and leading the way for people like me. Now for the apologies...I don't want to say her name...but the sidekick to the princess...you know who you are...I said some horrible things about you back then because... well...you made me want to hurl every time you posted. I would actually skip every post you'd make just so I wouldn't feel sick to my stomach. You were too...cheerleaderish....it was like...you honestly thought everyone loved you. And a bunch of us hated seeing your posts. I'm not saying this to be mean. I'm just not hiding anything anymore. Now on this site, you seem pretty much ok. But I am sorry for hating you as much as I did. Now how pathetic is that? I actually hated someone online that I have never met and never had any dealings with in real life? And Sherrand, again, I'm sorry for putting you on my punching bag. Ok, I'm ending this. I'm going to bed, I NEED some sleep. When I wake up, I will most likely think this was a dream that I actually posted this, and then will check on here and want to die seeing that I really did it. But that's ok. It's done. I"M FREE!!! |

That took a lot of guts and I have oodles of respect for you! To some degree, we were all affected by the KoolAid. I'm still kicking my own arse over it BTW ~ the eBay listing WAS funny, very creative. You're obviously talented and I'm sure you'll do well with your own site!

Hey everyone I found out where ka/ray states his advertising and marketing stategy. Here come the quotes from wagglepop today.
Quote:Many have inquired about what the site's goals are, and what the "advertising" plans are. Good and fair questions, and Wagglepop Today exists to address those points openly and honestly. As dedicated members, you deserve straight answers to direct questions. You deserve to know what's "happening" with the site. You'll always find those answers here. GREAT WE ARE FINALLY GOING TO GET THOSE ANSWERS TO WHAT WE HAVE BEEN ASKING ALL ALONG!!! Quote:Regarding marketing, like any company, we cannot share the precise details of our marketing strategy publicly, but properly funded, we're quite confident it will be extremely effective. We're equally confident in some of the unconventional strategies we'll be implementing as this year goes on. The site traffic numbers are a direct reflection on some of the more organic measures we've implemented, with great success. The site traffic numbers are a direct reflection on some of the more organic measures we've implemented, with great success click.....click....clickity....click....click!!!!! Just as I thought there is no plan at all! I do have one more qustion though if Ray has split personalities we can agree that Karen would be his right hand but what would christine & andrew be? By the way for all those that are wondering how I found out where he lives and what his phone # is this is how I did it. Look at the examples he uses in the learning center. Look at the sellers location and believe it or not he has a published phone # so I checked the book and low and behold! Not the sharpest pencil in the drawer. let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name..." |
