Who is it?  I don't have access to the boards over there... or I'd be happy to help in another way...

I am a heroes fan, too, and thought of that...lol.

Hello2 the wagglefact of the day

Smileywelcome lurkers.  I personally would like to engage in conversation with you.  I am sure that you would like to tell us all why leaving WP was a terrible business decision for us and why it is a good one for you to stay.  Since we left WP, we are all learning more about business each day and welcome you.   Smileywelcome

So far, Scott is the only person currently active at WP that has come to visit and I invite him back.  He is a very insightful poster and I feel that his opinions expressed on TT were noteworthy.

Do not be afraid of attacks.  This is a great place where honest, adult conversation with no deleting, editing or slaps take place.  We also don't tell lies.

FineThings4U,

And we don't leave questions unanswered. Facts leave little debate but I welcome open debate and invite all to engage us.

Thankyou and that is what the wagglefact is all about. We have not even begun to market the wagglefact, but I can say this we will and it will be this year (newsletters, t-shirts, mugs and much more)!!! Our goals are simple, when you lookup wp on the net you will be hit with the wagglefact first on the page! That will make people think twice about joining & make people leave.

Finethings,
Actually princessmiranda paid TT a visit, declared herself a genius like Ray. Just go back in the thread and you can find it.  Smile

WP's Karen talking about Vitalfinds on the WP boards after Vitalfinds asked about the site's staff:

Quote:Hello Members,

While on the one hand it's interesting to watch human nature at work, on the other, it's somewhat sad to see what cynicism does to some people's inner spirit.

It seems there are some who simply cannot fathom that Wagglepop is exactly what it appears to be:

A small company, founded and financially backed by one individual, with a small but dedicated staff, wishing only to be able to make a difference.

Personally, I think that's a wonderful and beautiful thing, and the main reason I'm proud to be a part of it.

Anyone you have to explain that to, wouldn't understand it anyway.

It must be awful to be that cynical, and to see the world only in such dark tones.

Truth here is an old post from raybil. This one really blew my mind.  :blinkie:

Quote:I'm wondering if there is something wrong with site meter. I have not had a single hit today. Thats a first.
No, popper, not at all, and it won't be the last either.  Mrgreen

Quote:i have not had a hit either, is there other ways to help get exposure?

Why, yes there is, ask your friendly store owners and they will show you how to spam Craigslist and the boards at other sites!   Mrgreen

Quote:I don't think it is working either!! I have had one, and I usually get lots more!!

Since no other popper has given you proper kudos for the one hit, I will.  Thumbsup

Quote:It has been slow since Thanksgiving. think it is working. I have had only 13 hits today.
Yes, it is working - just not for you.  Mommy Karen will be by soon to tell you why this is traditionally the slowest part of the retail selling cycle and how advertising will not help.  Your products must be junky and frankly, you just aren't working hard enough.  So sorry.  Crybaby2

In a tiny defense of RR, the front page IS designed to attract sellers right now -- to get enough inventory to attract buyers in the near future.

It remains to be seen when he might change the front page to be buyer oriented -- if at all -- and markets the site somewhere other than the ebay stores board in the form of spam.

As a note:  He'll never go anywhere with this site if he continues to monitor and post on the boards in the name of *Karen*.  :Smile

princessmiranda posting on TT

After I quit spamming eBay boards with WP hurrahs, I started lurking.. and learning. a lot.  by the way I apparently am stupid and misquoted that 3-year-goal should be 1-year-goal which WP has already surpassed.  No matter.  Regardless, I have begun to like lurking, but occasionally I'll jump in and surprise people. Smile

I was around FAS the last time, but didn't have a chance to open up at WP before the site fell.  Now this impersonation of Karen that you speak of.. why and how would he do this and have time to do everything else and what makes you think it's him?

I'm asking seriously, because I want to know.

Name's Miranda, by the way... Wave

I remember that chiquita...she flip flops between loving WP and hating WP I had totally forgotten.  She's loving it now and shares her wares with all the others.

Ray and Karen tend to write reasonably educated sentences.

And then break quite a bit.

With a few different short paragraph lengths, but rarely over a set number. Often ending with an imperative.

For example.

Done.

[/quote]

Hmmm, by the time I got to FAS, it was already a huge forum, and I didn't have a lot of time to read but I tried.

So, let's say Karen is Ray.  Then what?  Why is that a problem?  Given what I know of the previous launch (which is not a whole lot), why would he want to use his real persona?
