chiquita,
Quote:He's using a privacy guard to protect his whois info which is why it's showing up as Washington instead of New York.  If you use GoDaddy's privacy guard your info would show as Arizona, etc.  This is one case where Ray is innocent.  WP's New York address is listed on WP, in the email he sent, and they are a NY LLC.
Hey buddy I know. I know exactly where he lives. He is in the phone book. I grew up less than 1 mile away. Check the learning center for the county. That is how I figured it out as well as the PO box That is listed. I even know his phone #. You can find it out very easy. I will not give it out on the TT forum or at all. This is to much fun. Remember what I said before about the baby bull and the daddy bull? That applies to what I am doing to WP.

Truth, I just wanted to make sure, and your breakdown of his expenses is great. How did you figure out the dedicated server? There was a question with WP1 as to whether Ray was even using a dedicated server.  :blinkie:

I just realized SB has 3 stores on WP, he has one, his wife has one, and then they opened a third one.  :blinkie:

chiquita,
Quote:Truth, I just wanted to make sure, and your breakdown of his expenses is great. How did you figure out the dedicated server? There was a question with WP1 as to whether Ray was even using a dedicated server.

Investigation my friend.

Ray is a scam artist and here is his scam:

1) start an auction site as an alternative to ebay around the time you think they will increase fees. (did that 2 times now)
2) asume people will be upset with the fee increase (correct)
3) remember ray is a seller and is good at it so what is he selling?
4) because ray is a seller he in no way can see things from a buyers standpoint so he is selling you his site for $9.95 a month to start. That is why the site looks like it does. You are seeing Ray's listing. So it does not matter if you are a seller you are still the buyer you are buyer his scam.
5) sellers start buying from each other to make it seem like there is site activity after they have been brainwashed into RAYTHINK.
6) the #'s are fudged to make it seem like there is more activity than there really is. This fudge is done in many ways not just listing count the store count is fudged as well. Probably only 350 real stores. This was started between steps 1 & 2.
7) ad more fees but spend no real money.
8) assume that people will come and go for 1 year or so. Than close the site and make out like a bandit.

That is the scam and I realized it without the help of TT before I left. It took me about 3 weeks to see it. I only stuck around to investigate it. I planned on talking about it on my website but TT is a better place. How I figured it out was to back track his scam.

Popper, there's no need to feel down.
I said, Popper, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, Popper, 'cause you're paying a clown
there's no need to be unhappy.

Popper, there's a place you can go.
I said, Popper,  you won't pay Raybil dough.
you can talk there, and I'm sure you will find
many ways to have a good time.

it's fun to stay at the Popper Hotel.
it's fun to stay at the Popper Hotel.

they have facts that you will enjoy,
about Raybil who isn't really a boy ...

it's fun to stay at the Popper Hotel
it's fun to stay at the Popper Hotel.

you get rid of koolaid, get over that bad deal,
you can say whatever you feel ...

Popper, are you listening to me?
I said, Popper, what do you want to be?
I said, Popper, you can make real your dreams.
but you got to know this one thing!

no Popper does it all by herself.
I said, Popper, put your pride on the shelf,
and just go there, to the Popper Hotel.
I'm sure they can help you today.

it's fun to stay at the Popper Hotel.
it's fun to stay at the Popper Hotel.

(sung to the tune of YMCA)

Good nite all!!
Good bye all
Enjoy your freedom
Use it well

Sweetgirl- I love that song YMCA, and yours is perfecto.
Hey a songwriting team comprised of a kitty a banana and an overstretched bra, just think of the possibilities!
We could make milllllions millions. What shall we call ourselves?
