RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
We now have some explanations on why the store count is falling by some cheerleaders

Quote:The store count will go up and down for several reasons. Some sellers just don't have what it takes to wait the building of the site out for various reasons. Others will not meet the high standards set for Wagglepop but that is what we want, isn't it?

What it takes=ability to ignore the fact your losing money while paying your fees every month.

Quote:I was looking at the Share Your Wares thread this morning.  My stomach just tightened.  Despite how any of us may feel about WP and KaRay, the quality of the handmade items at WP that I have seen are incredible.  SB is an awesome photographer, the crochet work is incredible and many of the other things I have seen are top-notch.

Fine, no one here ever doubted the quality of the products on Poopybutt.  You are very right there are some very nice handmade items and store owners who carry top-notch product.  The issue at hand is that these products are not being seen because Raybil hides his wares and doesn't believe in sharing.

Quote:Store "counts" can be quite the illusion when it comes to trends and projections.

The ups and downs are all a part of the process.

What we are trying to do is build a seller base for the long-term with the traits and characteristics that buyers value most.

Some sellers are more comfortable in a high-traffic eBay environment and need immediate returns, while others cannot operate in a trust-based environment. The effect that both groups have on the overall count was never something we would mark a part of the long-term trend.

Regarding the first group above, we will work hard to earn their business in the future and know we can with increased market share, while the second group has no place on Wagglepop at any point in time.

We are only concerned about and interested in sellers that buyers can count on and that we as a company can count on, both today and in the future as we grow together Smile

I added bolding and underlining.  Read those lines, how very scary!!!

Quote:First, the desirable sellers as pointed out by Karen:
"What we are trying to do is build a seller base for the long-term with the traits and characteristics that buyers value most. "

I would think these traits are responsive customer service, quality product and prompt product delivery among other things.  Most sellers fit into this category.

The second undesirable group:
"Some sellers are more comfortable in a high-traffic eBay environment and need immediate returns, while others cannot operate in a trust-based environment."  "....the second group has no place on Wagglepop at any point in time."

Excuse me, EVERYONE in business wants high traffic and returns on their product.  That is why they are in business, to make money.

Excellent customer service enhances  opportunities.  You cannot give a great level of customer service if you don't have customers.

Those that are leaving are seeing that the traffic on WP is not driving customers to their products and they are not making enough money to pay their store fees.  That is mostly why they are leaving.

If I were the owner of this business I would fire you right now Karen, unless of course my business goal was to insult the intelligence of my customers and to point blank say that if they want their business to be seen and be profitable not to come here.

Open your eyes people, WP is not here to help your business grow or to bring in buyers.  You are their buyers and you are paying them for insults to your intelligence.

Toadgirl has responded, wonder how long that will last?

Excellent point to note. Thumbsup

Fine, I don't know if any of the poopers saw my post as Toadgirl before it was pulled, hopefully it will show back up in a couple of days like the other deleted posts have.

I should have copied and pasted it on all the boards before I was cut off,  Happy001 Happy001

Thank you everyone...I was pretty scared to read what would be posted, but just the fact that I even said it outloud was scarier.
aintnohollerbackgirl...hand sanitizer is a good thing. *lol* You're a nut, and can't wait to finish this web page!
electica...Thank you so much. Felt like a building was lifted off my shoulders when I saw your post.
Truth...I will check out your site for sure. Thank you!
racedream...I have an ID over there too that I have only used once, but I'm going to change it. Thank you as well!
Chiquita...Ask your son if he would mind me using that name sometime. And you're right, I did waste time on that listing for poopland. The experience was so bad I never did another one but I did love doing it at the time. Maybe I need to do another one, for my web page when it switches over to where people can buy from my page. Knowledge is power...my fav saying. I was 40 when I received my BA, obviously NOT in computer science though! *lol*
Sweet Girl 70...that was great! You have a way with words for sure.
Asklin & FineThings4U...you 2 are so great!
And Platzki...Sorry to have called the princess your sidekick. It always sounded like you 2 were a team. She gushed all over you like...what gushes dramatically? *lol* I was happy to see that it wasn't what it appeared to be. And I didn't mean to make you feel bad by saying the stuff I did. I just needed to get it all off my chest and feel free. I hope you understand. And I would love to be a part in helping them over there to stop wasting thier time, efforts and money by filling rayscums pockets. I hope too that we can get to know each other better.
I don't want to bore you guys with another book...so thank you all again. I really do appreciate being able to come here and learn.  Smile

This statement by KaRay always gave me the creeps, because it shows how retarded KaRay is/are and how much of a business venue this site is NOT. I'm glad you highlighted it Sweet Girl. Let's just analyze what's said here.

"What we are trying to do is build a seller base for the long-term with the traits and characteristics that buyers value most." First of all, buyers can't value ANYTHING they don't know exists, unless you are referring to the other store owners as the buyers. Secondly, what buyers were to value at WP is the same thing they would value anywhere else: good product, great service, fair price. This has nothing to do with the next sentence, which is ....

"Some sellers are more comfortable in a high-traffic eBay environment and need immediate returns . . . " No wombat poopoo, Sherlock! Some? I'd say ALL, regardless of venue. What sane, serious business person would feel comfortable in an invisible place where there's no financial incentives in sales or anything else to make it worth their while to be there?

"others cannot operate in a trust-based environment." Trust-based meaning blind investment, with no guarantee whatsoever of ever visualizing a return, in a project created by a guy who is a reputed liar and con artist.

"The effect that both groups have on the overall count was never something we would mark a part of the long-term trend." Translation: We don't want you if you're looking for traffic and sales or are unwilling to invest funds for no returns. If you are in either group, you will be weeded from our ranks or will simply get frustrated and dump us. Either way, "good riddin's".

"Regarding the first group above, we will work hard to earn their business in the future and know we can with increased market share . . . " Translation: Sellers looking for visible, trafficed venues where they can make "sells" won't find it here, but might in the future, as we gain visibility. Now think about that. How is WP going to gain market share if it is composed of sellers who don't care about visibility or return on investment and WP does nothing to bring buyers to sellers who couldn't give a rip, anyway. How will this earn the business of sellers who want a high-traffic environment with sales? It absolutely makes NO SENSE, WHATSOEVER!!!!!

". . . the second group has no place on Wagglepop at any point in time." We will never, ever, welcome sellers who are not FULLY committed to investing in our "vision" and for whom a return on investment is important. And since no sane, serious business person would invest without expecting a return on investment, our site will never be composed of sane, serious business people.

CONCLUSION: WP is and always will be, composed of desperate individuals (cultists) with no business sense, a fact that will never bring buyers. The whole "vision" is, was, and forever shall be, set up to benefit no one but KaRay -- period.
