Install one of the search engine friendly URL mods.  Your URLs will look like this with the SEFU mod (there is also another SEO mod available that produces slightly different URLs):

Example Category URL:
http://www.tulipstuff.com/pages-main/cat...cates.html
Example Product URL:
http://www.tulipstuff.com/pages-producti...te-500.htm
Example Product Review URL:
http://www.tulipstuff.com/pages-product_...nked.htmll

EDIT: sniped by iron_chick as I was pressing the submit button.  Laughing7

This is the mod we're using "SEFU That Just Works"

http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35057

The other SEO mod is "Chemo's Ultimate SEO URL's "

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Thanks for the information.

Now if I can get myself started. I built the site about a year ago, the only thing I have done with PHP. I hated it, took about two weeks and still was a long way from what I wanted. It would take a lot to get back up to speed on it. I know I should be using PHP, several times I have had to change the code on every one of the 200 plus tld site pages.

Lazy Lazy Lazy.

It's rather ironic that the wagglepoop domain has public whois contact info and the real WP has hidden contact info.  Smile

Got Chemo's SEO contrib installed on a sandbox cart I have set up.  I'll put it on my real cart in progress tonight.

Very very very easy.  There's a new contribute for those who have the most updated cart.  All you have to do is upload files.  Included is an htaccess file.  You have to make ONE edit and rename it and you are done!

Auction counts are down by about 100 since last week too.  No signs of Ray yet.

This sounds like eBay:

wagglepop Wrote:Our recommendation at this time is approximately 75% in the main search, and 25% Store Inventory.blah blah blah
seller Wrote:The store is more of a holding bin. Guide the buyer to it through your auction. blah blah blah

Hmm, I just looked at the fees again.  I didn't realize that he is also charging extra for BIN...just like eBay.

current prices: $50 auction listing with BIN and gallery
Wagglepop $0.60 ($0.50 + $0.05 gallery + $0.05 BIN)
Yahoo FREE and no FVF
Amazon Auctions $0.10 (FREE for Pro Merchant subscribers who also get  a store)
Overstock Auctions: from 3 cents to 1/10 of one cent depending on subscription plan (also includes free subtitle)
Bidville $0.10 (free listing + $0.10 gallery)
iOffer FREE (also includes free store)
eBid * (listing is free, $1 gallery charge only if item sells, no FVF, free store)
