RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Ray needs to make an appearance.  That's full of risks, but he was the guy who they all followed, and without him, it's just a new tiny little auction site (of course that's what it is anyway ... but there were those who believed specifically in Ray himself, and there's nothing to "fufill" them now).

Edit to Add:  And what's with the graphic "Join the Revolution."  The "Join" is a different color (like as though it's fading away).

Adding Again:  I just posted this in the Misc Section:

Quote:So when is anyone going to ask this?  Ok, I will ... Where is Ray?  Is this site actually owned by Ray?  What happened?  Ray has his faults, but it was him who led (or gathered-up) the revolution the first time, so without him, how is this site anything more than just a tiny new auction start-up?

The first time around, there was all hype and no substance.  This time, there's a lot of substance but no hype or leadership.  Karen is wonderful, but she hasn't indicated that she's the site owner -- so it's as though this site has been orphaned.  It's all kind of confusing.  I almost wonder if Ray does not want to succeed even in a small way.

Shucks, meant to put "the revolution" in quotes.

Interesting response from CC1.  No direct mention of Ray.

Quote:hi vitalfinds,

I'm concerned that you feel there is a lack of leadership Sad

I'd be interested to hear more about the role you'd expect our CEO to have, and how you define leadership overall.

If I were her I'd be more concerned that WP's traffic died after 2 days--died as in this forum has received amost 4X more traffic in the past week than WP has.  Smile

Hmm............ there's some tar left over from our roofing job a few weeks ago....And I'm sure I can find some roadkill pigeons within a 2-block circle of here.  I'M READY !!

May he just rest in peace.

Quote:The owner, founder, and CEO of Wagglepop LLC is indeed the same as it has always been, as the Grand Re-Opening email invitation stated.

Ok, so Karen says that Ray still owns the site, although she's careful not to actually mention his name for some reason.

Interesting...she wants to discuss it off the boards so that no one can read what is said.  Gee, why the need for secrecy to take it offline?
