Hey Platzki,  What's up with Bric over on the MM??  Seems she is moderating the board a lot like Karen.  I see a couple of store owners are thinking of leaving, but Bric is being a true popper and defending the fort.
Good bye all

Sweet, that is so true about that song. Not many word changes at all.

More and more poppers are starting to see the light. And the number of lurkers continues to grow by the hour. With the boards being so dead since the implement of the new strict policies, Maybe some of them are becoming more and more suspicious of what KaRay is really all about.

Any poppers that are lurking, there is light at the end of the Pop Land tunnel. Don't be afraid to go through the tunnel.

This was posted a little while ago on Pop Land.

Quote:Hello Members,

I haven't been to a Breakfast Club get together in a while, so I thought I'd stop in today for a nice glass of orange juice Smile

The latest Sales Report will be up in about a hour, and it shows the continued strong activity at this point in the holiday season.

Regarding category population, there are still lots of "holes" in categories and specialties, so it's a great opportunity to do some research and either fill them or recruit sellers you know who specialize it those items and products.

collectorscabin,

The "notification of payment" is provided for buyers as a tool to let sellers know that they have sent payment via some method other than PayPal, generally a money order or check.

Everyone have a great day!

And what do Poppers get in return for their "recruiting" efforts -- JACK WOMPAT POO POO! If you Poopers want to be head hunters, how about applying for a job as an account executive at a REAL employment agency and get paid for it.

Don't you just love it? KaRay has the Poopers do all the marketing, all the advertising, all the spamming, all the recruiting, all the listings, --- etc. -- everything, short of pre-washing the skidmarks from their underwear, and I'll bet if KaRay would ask for it, some drugged Popper would do that, too.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
KaRay posted this a little while. A discussion thread has been started. This may get interesting  Wink

Quote:Hello Members,

A major topic of discussion in today's morning session was the idea of plans versus goals, and how they work together.

As such, we would like to open this new topic for open discussion:

What Are Your Selling Goals on Wagglepop?

- How do you define your goals? Sales? Happy Customers?
- What is your plan to achieve those goals?
- What is your short-term and long-term business timeline?

We would be interested to hear and discuss exactly what the goals of our sellers are, and what the overall approach is.

In opening the floor, we hope not only to learn more about how we can support our seller body, but perhaps those who are having success can pass along some general information to help other sellers attempting to build a customer base and niche on WP.

[/quote]

Bric is a good hearted person... I just think she has a hard time believing that WP is corrupt... good-hearted people want to believe that all people are good and won't hurt you.  Like a child who hasn't learned yet of the danger of strangers.  Strangers come in all shapes and sizes, they look like grammy's and mommy's and daddy's.  They can be ugly or pretty.  They can be young or old.

Ask a child what a stranger looks like and most likely the answer will be... "Well, it's a scary guy that wears a stocking over his head and has a gun!"

Ask MY kids what a stranger looks like and they'll tell you... "They look like anyone that you don't know, haven't met and that mommy or daddy hasn't said that it's ok to talk to."

WP is the stranger dangling candy in front of innocent sellers... next Ray will want them to help him find his lost puppy...

Bric is welcoming people to the forum with her frequest posting (after all... she started it) but I do tend to see some nudging towards "long hauling" to the poppers...

One thing that irritated the hell out of me today:

One popper mentioned that she hated the secrecy and was thinking of leaving... Bric said she had too much invested and should stick it out... ALL OF A SUDDEN, the popper says that she's right and they won't leave!! THAT ANNOYED ME!  However... those are the sellers that belong at WP and not competing with me on MY venue!!  I know that seems selfish... and it's sad, but it's how I feel.

Poppers minds are like play-doh... easily molded and conformed to any shape... I especially like the pointy headed ones!!!

Platzki,
I saw that post too.  Bric and my friend are both very kind hearted people and so easily drawn in and very trusting.
Great analogy by the way, ever think of being a psycho?
