"I agree completely with your assessment of Bric, Platski. She does have a huge heart and when she talks about all the work that someone has put into their store, she is talking about herself too.  She doesn't want to concede that all the effort she put into the malls (she closed the main one though) and her dilligence in promoting WP has been in vain. But I bet there are moments when she asks herself this very thing."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Of course, it's very hard for anyone to admit they've been "had" -- one reason why much fraud goes unreported. And nobody wants to undo what's taken him/her months to build. With each listing I ended on WP, I cringed and got more angry at KaRay. But I had to bite the bullet and get it done.

I've read through the posts at the MM, and I don't know if anything from me would help or hinder, as my style might not be as gentle as yours, YOHB.

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if that was how it worked.

KaRay posted this a little while. A discussion thread has been started. This may get interesting  Wink

Quote:Hello Members,

A major topic of discussion in today's morning session was the idea of plans versus goals, and how they work together.

As such, we would like to open this new topic for open discussion:

What Are Your Selling Goals on Wagglepop?

- How do you define your goals? Sales? Happy Customers?
- What is your plan to achieve those goals?
- What is your short-term and long-term business timeline?

We would be interested to hear and discuss exactly what the goals of our sellers are, and what the overall approach is.

In opening the floor, we hope not only to learn more about how we can support our seller body, but perhaps those who are having success can pass along some general information to help other sellers attempting to build a customer base and niche on WP.

What are your seller goals on WP:
Lots of sales, good customer support and group hugs

What is your plan to achieve those goals?
Advertising through share your wares posts, by spamming other sites and by increasing my listings on WP

What is your short-term and long-term business timeline?
What???
Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Finally, a post to Karen's "goals" thread;

Popper:

- How do you define your goals?
my goals change from time to time but basically to have Wagglepop be a venue that will bring in enough money to pay all the bills and have money left over to do with what I want and be able to quit my day job

Sales?
for the 1st year, just to pay monthly store fees
Happy Customers?
Making customers happy is my top priority, on time delivery, combine shipping costs, discounts for repeat buyers

- What is your plan to achieve those goals?
list, list, list and advertise (thru other medias)

- What is your short-term and long-term business timeline?
short term I am patient and am giving myself 1 year to get listings up, long term minimum of 20 years

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OMG.

20 YEARS! ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY ALL BILLS AND DO WHAT YOU WANT AND QUIT YOUR JOB! Not in this lifetime, Popper.

Well let me see! HMM! I would like to be able to at least feed my family once a month. The virtual breakfast has been great but I am having a hard time getting my 7 year old and 12 year to understand the concept. My dog has eaten my lcd screen and I am a little tired of looking at his ass while on the computer. Maybe we could also have a virtual lunch and dinner. I do like a little variety from time to time!

Oh I forgot a virtual late nite snack might also help!

BTW, I'm now famous on tulip for being a WP cheerleader (because of 2 posts that I responded to yesterday), and some even think that I am an employee. There are spies among us, so watch your back everyone. I can't wait to see how they twist this post.
Thanks, WP, for actually CARING about what the sellers want.

Happy Selling !!!

Hello KaRay,

A major topic of discussion in today's breakfast thread was the idea of plans versus goals, and how they work together.

As such, we would like to open this new topic for open discussion:

What Are Your Ownership Goals on Wagglepop?

- How do you define your goals? Sales? Advertising? Happy Sellers?
- What is your plan to achieve those goals?
- What is your short-term and long-term business timeline?

We would be interested to hear and discuss exactly what the goals of Wagglepop are, and what the overall approach is.

In opening the floor, we hope not only to learn more about how you can support our seller body, but perhaps learn what YOU can do to help other sellers attempting to build a customer base and niche on WP.

CK is another boinktard. He's the guy that flagrantly boasted on the WP boards about how he spread his WP store links all over his eBay listings, in clear and obvious violation. Gotta love that "integrity".
