Ridin The Sales Slump Out (by R-AY-O Wagglewagon)

Ridin' the Sales Slump out, waitin' for the buyers to come out
On a full moon night in the Waggly Buyerless winter.
My koolaid bottle's low, watching for the sells
I've been thinking lately of what I'm missing in the eBay.

And I'm  missing everything
Watchin' the full moon crossing the range
Ridin' the Sales Slump out
Ridin' the Sales Slump out.

KaRay's beside me, she's there to guide me.
She says that alone we've finally found home.
The wind outside is frightening,
but it's kinder than the lightning life in the eBay.
It's a hard life to live but it gives Ray what you give.

Quote:EDIT: Did the post get pulled from the WP board? Seems nowhere to be found!

It's under the I gotta brag about my 71 sales thread. The next poster/cheerleader completely disregarded the post and instead started bragging about her sales.

Must be you have to be a cheerleader to get encouragement and support. Oh wait, we knew that.

WAGGLEFACT OF THE DAY

WHAT THE BENCHMARK MEANS TO RAY

FACT:

700 stores = Approximate "Break Even" as stated in wp today

Over the course of a year based on the $9.95 fee for smart sell pro this = $83,580
Ray's fees for running wp over the course of a year = less than 15% of the above #

FACT:
Sales as of 12/3/06
21,739 as stated in wagglepop today. fvf from these sales based on a fee of $.10 per sale $2,179.39

FACT:
All above figures do not account for sellers that don't sell through WP stores or the clickty, click, click adsmart program introduced on 11/18/06. They also don't account for any Rayfudge and are based over a year with 700 stores.

Conclusion:
Ray's break even mark is a profit of close to 6 figures for him. He has the time to help his seller base but he choses not to. This is proven by the RSCRIPT software that he is running (push a few buttons to turn on or off features). He also has the time to update WP Today, the revolution newsletter and the sales report but he choses not to. Instead he changes only two sentences each month, week or just change's the header to reflect 2 months instead of 1.

What does this prove?

His scam is on the decline. He can't explain the facts and questions that have been asked so instead he avoids them, hides the truth and removes any and all threats from the site.

Sure, we all know running the site is a part-time job, but how can Ray POSSIBLY have the time to update WP Today, the Newsletter, OR the sales report, when he spends so much time lurking here, there, and everywhere, spamming his brains out, sending out "violation" notices, cancelling accounts and pulling posts. This is, I'm sure very time-consuming. If he were running a real business, he wouldn't have to spend time doing all that and he'd have time to do other things, like, ah ADVERTISING? Just a crazy thought.

I'd be more inclined to call it a Spamalot, but I don't want to get into a copyright fight with Monty Python.
