Seems there are a few enjoying the drama of the farewell tours, so it seems like a calamity when it's actually normal and expected.

I'm sure she won't share.

Close to 1,000 stores at the peak, down to 661 for the moment.  Adding 10 per day.  Math isn't my strong suit, but this just doesn't add up.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
When a little while from now
When I'm not feeling any less sound
I promise myself to slap myself
And visit another ground

I want to be on top
of sales that never stop
But I never knew
what that Ray could do
to lure me to Wagglepop.

In his hour of need
Ray Romeo is indeed
Alone again, naturally.

Looking back over the threads
while laughing off silly heads
I remember my shame
when my claim to fame
was a wagglepop store and a beer.

I'm just getting way to old
to let items go unsold

Ray's alone again, naturally
His site will die, naturally

They are losing 15 stores for every 10 stores that open.  So the growth trend is negative.

Can't wait to see how they spin that IF a seller is brave enough to do the math and question it.

Karen/Ray is 100% correct.  Usual for Wagglepop is a few hundred stores (along with the rest of the site) disappearing off the face of the earth on the same day without notice. :twistedevil:

Quote:Some are closing due to slow sales and policy disagreements, but you are right about a lot of them closing due to personal/life changes. There really seems to be no one reason why they are all closing.

Should this affect a buyer or sellers decisions about WP? I think every seller and buyer has to make their own mind on what is the selling and buying environment they prefer by looking at the whole picture and not just recent events. This is not to say that you should ignore the recent events either. Just keep an eye on changes and trends and use those along with your own experiences here to help determine your decisions about WP.
  Excellent answer popper!

Beware, mommy Karen didn't like it - but I did

Quote:As noted above the trend is indeed on the right track, and you are correct about some closures being due to policy disagreements.

Any member who does not agree with our Core Values & Beliefs and have faith in our Core Commitments would likely be better served in a different environment where behavior and responsibilties do not matter.

Here at Wagglepop, we are comitted to the belief that all members deserve a comfortable and courteous environment to buy, sell, and interact in Smile

I could be a few off, I just added it quickly. But if we pick an arbitrary date of Sept 1st, when the store count was close to 1000. By HER own numbers, the stores would be down by 494. If the trend continues - my new date for WP gone is April 19th  Happy001
