I sense a slap coming on -

Quote:Karen... errr, losing 15 stores a day and gaining 10 stores a day is not an upward trend, it's a downward trend. did I miss something???

Good job there!

If you scroll up and read my entire post, you'll have a better understanding of how the numbers actually relate to the trend.

For a real understanding, you've got to dig below the surface and understand business forecasting as it relates to a company's target market.

Losing 15 per day while gaining 10 per day is substantially different than just losing 5 per day and gaining none.

Radically different in business terms Smile

Karen - WP Customer Care

Yes its is very different, but the final outcome will be the same.

So Karen, if its really so complex that the average Popper isn't going to get it without your KoolAid, er guidance, please explain. Dig below the surface for us. Help us understand business forecasting as it relates to a company's target market. Please, pretty please.

Good job

GIVE ME A BREAK, KAREN!   Boinktard Boinktard

Tell me about how courteous and comfortable it is to pull a seller's post 3 TIMES simply because she would like to say farewell to their comrades.

Tell me about how courteous and comfortable it is to have MANGAGEMENT spying on PERSONAL MESSAGES (deleting them at will) and contacting a seller's customers WITHOUT consent or authorization.

Tell me about how courteous and comfortable is it to send invoices and harassing collection emails to members within seconds of YOU closing their account and WHO OWE YOU NOTHING.

Tell me about how courteous and comfortable it is to allow your disciples to pound sellers for asking questions, and reprimand the poor seller who's simply trying to get some answers instead.

Tell me about how courteous and comfortable it is to keep sellers in the dark about the plans for WP and make them feel like idiots for wanting to know.

Tell me about how courteous and comfortable it is for sellers to know they can get all WP has to offer them (and more) for FREE on at least a dozen other sites.

Tell me about how courteous and comfortable it is when sellers are told they are either too lazy to work at their business or must be selling junk, otherwise they'd be making sales.

Tell me about how courteous and comfortable it is to blow off potential buyers and cancel their accounts because they happen to ask questions about a site that is new and has yet established a reputation.

Tell me about how courteous and comfortable it is to never know if any post your bother to leave on the forums will be pulled before it has the opportunity to be read.

I COULD GO ON, BUT I THINK YOU GET THE POINT, KaRay, you cultist hypocrite -- WP is about as comfortable and courteous to buyers and sellers as a drive-by shooting on the freeway. Dink

Speaking of Math........last night I ended all my listings in preparation for official closing today.  All the people that closed their stores the last day or so plus today don't have the inventory numbers there any more either, right?  Well, how come the listings number doesn't go down?  Hmmm???? :-\

One of the great mysteries of Wankerpiddle. The listing numbers NEVER go down. Only up. I swear, they'll have 1 store left and 200,000 listings.

As Truth and others have discovered, old listings from closed stores, "test" auctions where there actually is not an item available, multiple listings of the same items, and what-all-else we have yet to figure are on the tote board. Does this make sense. Not in WTF Wankerland, where not much of anything makes sense.
