I'm a little slow. I actually had to leave my house today to shop so it took me awhile to catch up. I created a new username to be able to read the threads and possibly have templates sales, altho I doubt it. But I joined the ranks and closed my store. Karen said I'd be missed. Yeah right. this is business, who's gonna miss me?
So does this mean you will be staying on Wankerbutt as a seller? How do you feel about what Raybil has done to others who have left and his business methods? I am just curious as many of us have been there, didn't make any money, worked our butts off and then had our "good riddance" letters from Karen, with a smiley face of course. I guess WP is a lot like drinking or smoking, either you give it up all together or you stay addicted. I hope we have given you the information you need to see that WP and it's "staff" aren't concerned about you or your store. Raybil is making his money and that is all he cares about. By the way, congrats on getting both kids to use the potty. I am so happy that part of my life is in the past. I don't know what is harder potty training a puppy or a 2 year old.....2 year old wins!!!
The real deal about having availability on Wagglepop is customers, not Ray or Wagglepop at all. Just because I don't think a site is where I'll place my business doesn't mean I should make potential customers think I'm a jackass. My name princessmirandajo is out everywhere. I never thought to change names wherever I went. I have to be careful what I say and where I say it, ya know? Anyway I'm still watching from afar, I don't think I'll ever go back anywhere tho unless eBay really dumps. Business was down for a minute but it has picked back up again and I'm going to spend the rest of my time finishing my web design degree and focusing on my website. But if you ever need a listing template or logo, you can contact me. I'll only charge ya $5! |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Hi all..
Jeez how miss my wagglepop. I bought (1) item from a seller and sold (1) item since opening...I had over 200 items listed weekly until Novemeber then got fed up with no returns and paying to WP...monthly fees for basically nothing!. Posted just 4 times on the board (2) times I was a cheerleader early on...the 3rd and 4th my posts in early December were delated immediately....All I did was point out some truths and ask some questions. Then I had another cheeleader kitchen? something...be downright ignorant in replies to me in her/his board postings..and downgrade my items etc....and get away with it....because he/she is a member of the sect and I am not. HOWEVER.....and this is a big however..I am a seller not a sect member. I earned each and every one of my feedbacks on other sites...and it is a lot!! I did not have to buy/excahange it on the WP site In Nov ...I had a buyer contact me thru wagglepop email asking about an item...he did not want to use WP service as a buyer. As, WP was now showing itself clearer to me for what it really is, I did not encourage him to WP either. So...he came from a nearby State and picked up not one item but 5 items..directly. His office called last week and ordered 200 of the same items...and no... buyer was not a registered user of WP and point being he didnt want to be..nor did I encourage him to be...my point is this...right there you lost a good seller and a darn good buyer...and chose liars and followers that meet your screening...You will go down and so will the ones that follow...and by the way lurker Karen/KayRay..those 200 items is a 20k sale. Judging my your numbers and the way you treat sellers/buyers ...there can be no hope for your site ...it is unconsitutional, with no integrity, and zero fairness. It cannot survive. It is inevitable that you will fail...for you have dealt your unfair hand. You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time." -- Abraham Lincoln Try putting that on your website...for that is closer to the truth than what you have there :turkey2: :turkey1: :turkey2: :turkey1: :turkey2: :turkey1: :turkey2: :turkey1: |
Using Karens estimate of 10 new stores for every 15 that close, the actual store closings since the peak of 939 might be 437(46% closing rate). Update: After looking it again, it appears to reach 651 stores from 939 with 10 gained for ever 15 loss, you would need about 850 stores to close or am I missing something. Of course the 10 new for every 15 closures figure was mostly likely made up.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Wow, I wonder if they actually got My WP fixed to do the same :blinkie: I would think that would be a bigger priority, but we are talking Raybil here!!!
I always hated the My WP page, no numbers by the headers to let you know how many items you were selling, if you sold anything, if you had messages. What a pain to have to click on every link just to find out if anything was going on. Of course, nothing ever did go on so I guess not having numbers by the links was a good thing!
Good bye all
Enjoy your freedom Use it well |
