FAS
WAS infiltrated by lieworld. Just like any forum that gets up and running that talks shit about ebay. Glad to see everyone is savvy about this now.

Main Street is very amateur hour looking. It's not a buyer friendly site design. I'm not regretting choosing Monster over Main Street to host my store. ;D

I wasn't implying anyone was fibbing or incorrect about Wiz's site. I was just repeating what he told me about the selling/shopping aspect of it.

Quote:we're talking folks whose business decisions are influenced by happy dances and trolls I was reading one thread on WP and a seller who hadn't sold anything in the month she's been listing on WP said she was very happy with her WP experience despite having no sales because it was such a positive place. Unfortunately, being the horrible person that I am, I wouldn't be very positive about WP or any venue if I didn't have any sales because I'll admit I sell so I can afford to do frivolous unnecessary things like eat, have a roof over my head, and pay my bills. If I could just break myself from indulging in these unnecessary things then I too could make my business decisions based on which venue offered the best camp sing-a-longs and smilies. I have a couple of eCrater stores. I sell stuff in them for top dollar that I can't give away on eBay. And it's free.

eCrater isn't perfect - no inventory control, for one thing. But, it's free and very user friendly. If you have the ability to list on eBay and open an eBay store, you certainly have the ability to master an eCrater store.

Well, I'm trying to navigate on the eCrater site, after waiting almost 2 minutes for it to decide to open up. Almost impossible to get from page to page. Is this normal? Or is the site just trying to give ME a hard time....

I think it's just you. I've found ecrater to be extremely nice to work with.
