Quote:It also dearly costs WP Staff time heavily moderating the boards to contantly battle fires to bring back harmony - precious time that could be put to use toward bigger and better enrichments for our community.

You bet it will cost Ray to purchase that 10 pack of finger splints he's gonna need to treat the owies he has on his delete finger.
Harmony, kumbaya, you are getting stupid, I mean sleepy.  :blinkie: :blinkie: :blinkie:

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:I am in total agreement! If we have a problem with someone, the best person to discuss that with is that person. Airing our complains on a public board isn't going to solve problems, but rather cause discord.
It's true that we all have days where venting ourselves seems to help, but remember that a public forum will hold those words forever and they will be read by possibly thousands of people. So even when problems are solved, the spirit of the problem remains forever when posted on this board.
One thing I have found is that when someone tears down another, the ultimate goal is usually to make themselve appear better. But, in a public forum that will work just the opposite. When we tear down others, we make ourselves look bad and people won't trust us. Airing complaints, justified or not, has no place here.
It is always nice to hear about the good things that happen. The world is full of bad news, so a little cheerful news is always welcome. While we wouldn't want to dominate the boards with OT info, at least it won't be something that will come back and bite us later!
Please take this post in the spirit is was intended. I would love to see this community be look at as a place where people can come to be helped, find the merchandise they need, and have an all-around pleasant buying experience. Only we can make it that! Or, we can make it just the opposite. It's up to us!

That's right happy popper it's biting you in the butt right now!  Rally the troops - those that are left, that is.

Smileylol

WAGGLEFACT OF THE DAY

TOOLER'S RULE!!!
Tool

Quote:I am aware of another reason why restricting Farewells and closure discussions to a separate forum is a good idea. There is a creepy group of individuals outside of the Wagglepop community who are actively, on a daily basis, trying to disrupt and cause harm to our community and our businesses here. It appears that their lives are so lacking in purpose, that they have nothing better to do than try to convice people not to become Wagglepop sellers and they even go so far as to convince current Wagglepop sellers to leave. Many times their members have come to our forums for the sole purpose of creating trouble and then ridiculing our responses. My guess is that fine staff of Wagglepop is aware of these ugly worms and is taking steps to keep our Advanced Selling forum as slime free as possible.

The above statement is so backwards words can't even express how brainwashed this person is.

Fact:

People who post to this TT forum are smart business people that have asked smart business questions. We are not out to ridicule sellers on WP, we are only providing factual information about the business operations that have been and are continuing on the WP site. If there is anyone including Ray himself that can dispute any information that has been brought to this forum I invite you to take part in our discusion in this forum. Our beef is with the site itself and it's owner not the sellers in it.

The most important fact that anyone who reads this forum is this:

When you sign up for smartsell pro you are buying Ray's service each month. It is his responsibility to provide you with a venue to sell your items and to provide buyers access to your items. He has not and never will provide this because all he wants is your $9.95 a month. You are the buyer and that is all you will ever be on his site. When you look at WP you are looking at Ray's big listing and nothing more. All he knows how to do is sell. Remember he was a seller on ebay for many years. He can't look at things from a buyer's standpoint. As far as he is concerned YOU ARE THE BUYER. If you think you can sell you items on a site that is geared towards this one and only thing go right ahead. A smart business person will as questions and expect answers.

FACT:
Ray will hide the truth anyway possible. Look at the #'s next to the forums on WP. There are no buyers in the forums, just seller's.

Those thousands of people would be the head count of the ones who have left.

HEY, KARAY! How courteous, polite, friendly and constructive is this post? WHAT, NOT CENSORED? Oh, yeah, it's from a cheerleader!  How do you spell the word H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y?

Edit: And I am certainly a "slime" as you put it, in your oh, so polite, constructive, courteous way. And no, I'm not trying to make myself look good. I'm trying to EDUCATE YOU, believe it or not.

Quote:I'm sorry that you are misunderstanding the context of my post, xxxx. I was speaking of the extremely snitty comments riddling those farewell posts regarding other WP stores and members, some that were dang near the lines of outright slander. A pretty hairy thing to awaken to yesterday morning. There's never an occassion to speak like that to or about another person on any public message board, especially one that is representing the selling body of a selling venue.

This sounds similar to a lecture I got from my father as a child.  Except it also involved washing my mouth out with soap.  :o
