Quote:I've got three sites using ZenCart and I've just started working on a fourth.
If you decide to go the website route, I'll be glad to help you out if I can.
I'm definitely no expert, but I'll gladly pass on what little I've learned along the way.

Well thank you very much for offeringSmile Guess the first thing I need is a domain name right ;D and then a place to host it right?

Quote:If you've had an eBay store or a WP store you already know most of what you need to know to use a 3rd party hosted hosted cart like ShopPal, PrestoStore, etc.  If you have absolutely no web experience, or if time is a factor, sites like ShopPal are a good first step for many auction site sellers because the learning curve  isn't nearly as steep as it is with ZenCart/osCommerce, etc.

I have had both an ebay store and a wagglepop store and have even had the B & M. Time really isn't a factor, I do not work outside of the home any more. As for learning, I am quick learner, I don't think that would be the problem. Just need to be guided in the right directions and in order from the beginning to the beginning of actually going live.

Itsmylife- You are in good company. Alskling, myself and maybe others have found ourselves in the fast lane of learning the ins and outs of ecommerce. I have been driving in the carpool lane for so long that changing lanes has made me dizzy.  ???
We will learn together, laugh together, and I nominate alskling to drive the car. If I drive the car we will end up on the curb and have to take the city bus to reach our destination.  Tard

Sweet- He plays trumpet, but is getting an electric guitar for christmas  Toothy9 Race he could play your favorite heavy metal tunes. I will send the tylenol, sweet will cover the beer. What do you say?  Wink
