Another popper replies to the post.

Quote:There's a big difference in censorship and courtesy. Free speech should always be civil. One can state his/her opinion without lambasting others. Post removal was because of sheer spitefulness toward other members. The posting policy is pretty much to use common courtesy in dealing with others in the forums.

Nothing is well hidden. Karen provided the link in the very top portion of her post and also where it could be found in the list of forums (under Other Discussion Boards). The Board QuickLinks is on the right hand side of this forum in bold blue letters with a drop-down box listing all forums on WP.

The link is http://www.wagglepop.com/community/viewforum.php?f=64

There have been numerous posts in Advanced Selling offering suggestions in recent weeks. In fact, there're currently several running right now. Highway98 has been giving excellent helpful advice.

Good luck with your selling endeavors and hope you will continue to stay with us. Smile

We suspected, now I know this has got to be true.  Seller xxxxxxx98 wants to offer to pay someone's store fees for a year - desperation at its best!

Quote:The challenge is this: Beginning at 12:01am EST ( one-
minute after midnight ) Thursday, December 14th and
ending at 12:01am EST Monday, December 25th I will
listing like a demon ( whoops, that's not exactly an image
fitting with the season ) to be ready for the post holiday
boom. I challenge anyone to add more listings to their
store in that same period as I do. If anyone can beat me
in my pursuit of commercial success on Wagglepop, I will
pay that seller's basic store subscription fee for the next
year ( so, figure that's a prize worth $119.40 ).

OMG! This isn't desperation, THIS IS INSANE! The guy with the hockey cards -- well, he claims to have 1 million of those mothers tucked away. He could list them in a half hour and have his store fees paid for a year!

I can honestly say this is the first time I have ever seen a seller willing to pay other sellers to list.  Normally, its the site owners that do such promotions. Icon_scratch

I have a feeling that meows believes that anything she doesn't agree with is improper and should not allowed on WP. I think it has little to do with civil discussions. Her posts just scream control freak.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
For all you WP lurkers that are reading this, it would be good for you to get informed about all your sites and watch your pockets.  I am really undecided as to whether there is unethical things really going on at Wagglepop so I'm lurking there too and watching here.  I encourage you to do the same.  Courteous posting is one thing, but I am definitely seeing censorship - which is fine, whatever, but I am pretty sure I don't want to be part of such a censored place.  Even eBay doesn't do that, ya know???

STAY INFORMED.  Watch where you trust your money.  That's all I'm saying.

Signing off..

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Where do we get the numbers from?  If 302 stores have less than 50 items, how do we have 160,000 listings?  has anyone done research on the listing amounts? I'm skeptical.
