So, when will I get booted off now?  Any guesses???   Toothy10

If you get booted or they pull that post, that's just ridiculous.  The "good" side is allowed to name call and use nasty words  but the "bad" side (us) can't even respond with anything but praise you.  :Smile

Where do we get the numbers from?  If 302 stores have less than 50 items, how do we have 160,000 listings?  has anyone done research on the listing amounts? I'm skeptical.
The listing count is fudged. There are 310 stores with 50 items or less listed. I have proven it many times miranda. Read this entire thread. It may take you some time but it will explain the facts from start to finish. Another point to make is this.

Don't think that once your store is closed your listings are gone. They are not, my store closed on 11/21/06 and I sold an item on 11/22/06. I have the proof and have posted some of it in thread. I even emailed CC on the 11/23/06 after the buyer contacted me and CC never answered. I have checked my item #'s and about 25% remained active after my store was gone and I was gone.

WP is a SCAM and there is nothing more to it than that. Please read this entire thread Miranda. You seem like you are still on the fence about WP and that is fine but do yourself a favor INFORM YOURSELF with the facts! I wish you well.

She is going to be banned shortly

Quote:Okay...last post for me for today. Have to get back to work.

For the record...

I can follow links, however, I cannot find this NEW place to post without the link. That was my point.

Why not have it out in the open? If it's a new category, why not put it with the rest of the posting topic categories?

And

perhaps sarcasm in e-mails should be judged. I have said nothing negative, only asked questions. However, just because I'm not a cheerleader, that is no reason to treat me like a child and speak down to me.

I shall refrain from visiting these boards for a while and take a look at some of the links kindly provided which might answer some of my questions.I really can't waste my time filling a store at a location where the company does not care for the sellers (I just left a site like that...does ebay ring a bell???) I came here because it seemed friendly and helpful. Okay, friendly only if you are mindless and sing WP praises all day in every post. And Helpful only if you pay your WP bills and don't ask any questions which might offend?

Did WP go out of business once already? Can someone fill me in on the details of why and what is different now to prevent it from happening again? Perhaps I should have done more research elsewhere before putting all this time & inventory in this site?

I have been selling online for about 10 years now and understand fully about marketing...I was a stockbroker (in that business for about 10 years), and was the scheduler and plant manager for a manufacturing facility (9 years). I am, by all means, not stupid - so please don't talk to me like I am.

I have not said anything mean spirited or spiteful against any WP seller or poster. I have, however, seen that tasteful and kind well-wishes to those leaving are being hidden so newcomers cannot see them without a real search. If spiteful and mean spirited posts are not allowed, then the kind well-wishes for those that can no longer stay should be allowed and allowed openly. Not hidden or only accessible though a link on a post that will disappear within a few days.

I will say again for the record that I liked the "feel" of this site, but the "feel" is changing. I hope I get some more positive feedback after this post. Otherwise, that kindness and warm 'n fuzzy feeling about WP will be over for me. I never was a good cheerleader - a good salesperson & a good business person, but not a good cheerleader.

Here is that infiltration word again

Quote:********, I should have stated that a bit differently. Entire topics were removed due to the actions of a select group of former sellers. Those people had infiltrated almost every topic that other sellers had made with their harmful comments.

I certainly wasn't grouping those who came in those threads stating that they had to close their stores in that category. Please don't take a general comment about those who acted like bullying grade school kids to heart. You and quite a few other sellers simply got caught in the cross-fire.

I realize this has already been answered but I wanted any lurkers to see it again.  I know when I first came here I didn't want to read almost 400 pages and a good portion of those pages are just name calling and what seems to be a personal vendetta against Ray and WP.  Now, obviously the facts prove otherwise, but it's hard to see the facts in the midst of all the other stuff.  Know what I mean?

I'm not on the fence about Wagglepop, I'm just trying to remain informative and professional. Smile

The listing count # on psu will be 116,414 tomorrow. If Ray didn't open that store up it would have been 115,948. The balance of the listings from that store were store listings and psu does not count them. Ray has more of these stores so look for them in the coming days.
Alright, I'll bite. How did you calculate what the number of listings would reflect on PSU because you were spot on.  :o

ACK!!!  ROFLMAO  Happy001  No no no, not Ray, teehee.  And Vitalfinds is right (by the way I finally left you feedback today sorry about that -- and my magnet is proudly hanging on my refrigerator!!) I am a legitimate seller (albeit sincere and maybe ignorant, but not stupid) and absolutely NOT here to spam.

Actually I read many books, but I do have a problem concentrating--sometimes I have to read things over again.  I think it has to do with that ADHD thang, or something else.  Oh yeah and I accept the apology, no problems there.  I'm not easily offended anymore (not in the Internet world that is).

I enjoyed spamming the eBay boards tho, got myself 4 pink slaps and decided I better quit before I lose my hard-earned feedback in a termination notice!

I was truly curious to see why other people had the notions such as these.  Vitalfinds and I exchanged a couple of PMs and she directed me here, and I tried to read some of the thread but there's a lot of posts here!!

For example, if I myself had led a company into existence that promptly failed (for whatever reason, I missed that whole part and now can't get a solid unbiased answer anywhere so I gave up) if I were to come back why on earth WOULD I subject myself to the tauntings and harassments that may come?  That was my true question.  But I'm a female, and a somewhat sensitive one at that, so I guess thats part of the reason *I* would hide behind a curtain.

And you guys are suckers, no offense.  The post that included my brother and I being named geniuses was a test!!!  I purposely typed the way I did, especially after hearing about y'alls perceptions of Karen/Ray/whatever you want to call CC1 so I wasn't at all surprised to hear the recourse.

Nonetheless, I AM here to learn, so from your perspective (factual would be nice) what really happened the first time around at Wagglepop?
Princess, I was here when you posted a long time ago and your posts now are very similiar to what they were then.  Have you truly learned anything or are you still trying to figure it all out?

Good Morning Sweet,

Princess did close both her stores on WP so I'm willing to give her credit for having some of it figured out.  Some people more than others need more in the way of reassurance or confirmation that they have made the right decision and have to be convinced it was the route to take.

Speaking of stores. Count now at:
