Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
WAGGLEFACT OF THE DAY

Your business will suffer!

This is a topic that has been touched on by some but I think this is the #1 reason why anyone should leave WP. I have said it a number of times in my posts and so have many other X-POPPERS. I need to list or work on another venue. Also I need to do some work on my website or even I have heard people going back to eBay to reopen there store.

Fact:

It isn’t so much the $9.95 a month with no return that has effected people. It is the time that has been lost and you can’t put a dollar amount on that for anyone. Most X-POPPERS businesses have suffered since joining WP. Most are former eBay sellers at some point in there lives. Some closed there stores on other venues to sell at WP because of the promise. The fact that you leave WP is a step in the right direction however consider the time you spent listing there (some more than others, we had 2200 listings up when we asked to be terminated). Could you have made more money on another site or if you stayed where you were?

Our answer is YES & YES again!

I have heard many people say the same thing that they could have done better if they just started there own website. I agree with that 100% but you need to be ready to do it. Some think they will never be able to do it. You are wrong if you feel that way. There are plenty of people here who are willing to help you along as well as TT, most info you can get from TT. Tuliptools has allowed this thread to continue for a long time now and it seems to be picking up steam in a big way. Almost a third of this thread is from the last 3 weeks.

Conclusion:

There have been several hundred stores on WP that have closed. I would say those people saw what was wrong with WP. I think those people will have a great 2007 just by making this choice. Ray’s site will implode around him because of the way he treats people and the scam he is trying to pull. If you haven’t opened a store there and our info has helped you reconsider thank an X-POPPER for keeping you from making a mistake.

To the ones who refuse to be saved right now. We will still be here to help your recovery when the site folds. Some of us are dedicated to keep the online sellers informed with the truth and facts about WP. I know I am.
