616 stores...even DRM/Lure over at Auctiva seems to be a little less enthusiastic these days about WP's prospects.
[/quote]

If DRM is starting to lose enthusiam, Ray better panic. The social "village" is shrinking, and like another poster said the village will now be without its biggest idiot.

Considering a good chunk of these are second, third or even fourth stores from the same seller (exchanging items for FB, e.g. SCL), and a few Raybil "ghost" stores, the actually "real" number of stores is probably closer to 400.

Are the falling store counts the selling dynamics that Karen keeps talking about?  Icon_scratch

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
There have been many folks who have posted here about getting suspended, posts deleted, and no explanation.
This post from the archives of OTWA proves beyond a doubt that Ray did this all before during WP1, and continues to threaten and harass people currently.

Quote:Quote:
Hi all,
I just thought perhaps someone here could tell me how to contact Ray as I can no longer do so through Wagglepop for reasons expressed below.

I have been suspended from Wagglepop, Wagglepop Store, from Wagglepop Forums, and received a email from Wagglepop Law Enforcement huh ?.

I haven't a clue as to what it's all about or what the accusation or the charges are, no opportunity to face the accusations nor to have my day in court so to speak, there goes justice out the window again.

I have been on there 3 days befor launch, had 3 listings, 1 purchase, 1 positve feedback, I did have one encounter through an email and post here but we settled that in a amicable manner.

I've been on eBay since 2002, Pay Pal even longer, had a store until we received infamous email on the 12th of January at which time I closed store.

I have 68 positive feedbacks there, and you all know how strict the rules, and regulations are there, and I never encountered anything like this.

It is ludicrous, rediculous and without merit.

I at the least should have been contacted previous to this sort of action with an explanation of charges.

I only know they claim they have been tracking me for sometime, all of 2 weeks ? and if I don't decease IMMEDIATELY, their going to prosecute me.

Decease from what is my question ?, there making me appear to be some kind of criminal, I happen to be a law abiding individual , no criminal records, not laundering drug money through Wagglepop, loved my deceased wife of 37 years, still do, love my children, grandchildren, and my Yorkie, and people.

Now if those are the crimes they have been tracking, I stand as accused, and charged, GUILTY on all counts.

Please bear with me, I am going to present here all that I have been subjected today.

Please tell me what you would do ? and how can I contact Ray.

If I could have contacted him, would not have posted this here.

You be the judge.

If anyone here has any legal knowledge, could you please tell me if I have any legal recourse concerning this ?

I can't eat, do anything now I am so very, very upset about this whole matter, being threatened in such an underhanded manner, it's unbelievable.

Thank you for any help or advice in advance, it will be appreciate

I never understood why people would open up more stores on a site where their first store is barely making any sales.  :wtf:  I guess its that whole faith thing.

???? They had law enforcement track someone over a period of time? WP1 was operational for a few weeks.  Must have been a really short time Smile

Let's see. How long does a "period" last? 3-5 days?

Quote:I do get perturbed by "business" people putting those dopey fish signs and "God Bless Yous" on all correspondence, etc. I don't need anybody's blessings, just good service.

If I see a fish sign on a website, in a yellow pages ad, or in any other business material for a business--I cross them off my list. In the yellow pages, I draw and X through the ad. I've sent thousands of dollars of business to REAL businesses in lieu of "businesses" that want to sell me service and dogma.

I'm sure I'm not the only one.

If you're a Christian bookstore, it wouldn't bother me if there were a fish on your flier. If it's an auction site, and air conditioning service, or a pizza parlor and it has a fish, cross, or any other idyllic emblem--I'll never spend a penny there, even if it's the only joint in town.

Give me good service. If you're a Christian, fine. Great. Don't give me a Christian fish symbol. Give me respect and good service and I will respect you.

Wagglepop 1 wasn't even open for a whole a week.

What on Earth did that guy above do, anyway? Why are they threatening him?

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Apparently in their dynamic minds, they tend to interpret things differently than most.  An example from The Help Center rules of posting:

Quote:"Freedom of speech" refers to the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America which states:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

The U.S. Constitution is a wonderful and empowering thing. However, in the course of daily life it is too many times confused with the matter which we address now, namely editorial license.

Is KaRay not the government of WP?  I don't think I, personally have ever confused the United State Constitution with editorial license.

Quote:In short, we believe in you.

However, if there are posts which are brought to the attention of Wagglepop which are in clear or repeated violation of the Board Participation Policy, those posts will be removed. It's not censorship. It's not about "free speech." It's about respecting the community and the terms of the User Agreement that all people must agree to to become members of Wagglepop

It is censorship.

Quote:Members who repeatedly or blatantly violate board policy may be subjection to board sanctions, suspension or even revocation of membership. Any distinction may be applied to any member without notice or warning, although the violation must be clear in nature. Any member who is prohibited by whatever means by Wagglepop from posting cannot use any method to circumvent that prohibition, regardless of means.

That poor man's violation obviously was not clear in nature.

Quote:It is also a violation of board policy to circumvent any individual policy with the intention of disrupting or discouraging the community

Discouraging the community  :wtf:  This is supposed to be a group of business people.  Get over yourselves  :peepants:

I agree with thentavius.  If a business sells religious products, I expect to see symbols of Christianity.  However, I am offended by the assumption that everyone in the world is a Christian.  That will bite you if you sell overseas.

Not your typical Myers-Briggs Personality Types
Happy001

Quote:    ESTP: The Conman

As an ESTP, you are driven to succeed and to win. Your personality is dominated by your drive to test yourself and to triumph over your fellow man.

This generally expresses itself as an overwhelming urge to prove your self worth (and fatten your wallet) by taking advantage of the suckers, marks, and dupes who surround you--after all, isn't that what they're there for? It's not your fault that their stupidity and gullibility lets them believe you when you say that Hershey's Kissesses exposed to your patented psychic amplifier rays will let them fly! As your hero and fellow ESTP, P. T. Barnum, once said, "it is morally wrong to let a sucker keep his money."

As an ESTP, your greatest fear is failure. Under no circumstances will you permit yourself that kind of weakness, which makes you ideally suited for a job at Enron, where your natural talents can be recognized and rewarded.

RECREATION: ESTPs enjoy recreational activities such as card sharking, pool sharking, and conning little old women out of their lives' savings. They're often fond of polo as well.

Famous ESTPs include P. T. Barnum and DR. PETER OKOYE, SON OF THE LATE PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA M. B. OKOYE, WHO REQUESTS YOUR URGENT ASSISTANCE IN HELPING TO TRANSFER $150,000,000 (THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY MILLION USD) INTO YOUR U.S. BANK ACCOUNT SO THAT IT MAY BE DISTRIBUTED TO NEEDY CHILDREN, IN GOD'S CHARITY.

Quote:ENFJ: The Cult Leader

ENFJs are big thinkers. They are extremely charismatic, and wish to offer the benefit of their wisdom to the world at large. They tend to see the grand scheme of things, and to be able to deduce connections between things that other people miss; these psychological personality traits are the result fo the fact that they are the Messiah.

ENFJs use their charisma and their knowledge to teach others, benevolently helping their fellow man reach a higher plane of evolution through such unorthodox but enlightened means as Psychic Third Nostril Enlargement. They then retire to secluded farmhouses in rural areas, where their followers express appreciation for the ENFJs by signing over all their worldly possessions and giving up their wives and daughters to the ENFJ's "special care."

RECREATION: ENFJs are fond of collecting things, such as wives, guns, ammunition, and FBI search warrants. ENFJs often pass their leisure time engaged in such pursuits as self-flagellation or being nailed to things. Some ENFJs eschew these activities, preferring instead to watch their followers engage in them, offering suggestions and gentle advice when appropriate.

COMPATIBILITY: ENFJs make natural companions and mentors to INFJs. They often get along well with ENFPs, although a friendly rivalry may sometimes erupt between the two.

Famous ENFJs include J. R. "Bob" Dobbs.
