Quote:I'm not cheering for all the other "baskets" because Wagglepop is my favorite and where the largest portion of my recent income has come from even though it is not the only source. Â Nothing hypocritical about that. Â I am just getting started with Wagglepop though. Â Perhaps I can check back in with you guys a year from now when my business is much further along? Â How would you guys like a Christmas sales report next year? Oh please powerseller please give us a report a year from now! Just so we know upfront how are we to look at the growth? week-week, month-month or year to year? Oh could you give us some updates around Easter? If the site should close between now and then could we please have a final total as well? let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.."
Are you being paid PowerSeller? Or attempting to chalk up "brownie points" with RayKa?Just a friendly question.
Neither of the above. Just was trying to provide some insight.
That's fine, PS. But almost everyone posting to this thread has been a WP seller. Additionally, we do have the stats available. I am wondering what insight you can provide? The whole purpose of this thread is to allow venting and education for other WP sellers or people who may be thinking of selling there. If your Mother needed to earn an income online, would you honestly recommend WP as a venue? If so, why? |

Quote:if you want to compare June 2006 to June 2007, that'll be fun too.) That would be quite the silly comparison. : : : Sales have been declining, as have listings, as have stores. What growth? Quote:Alskling, it is O.K. if you don't know what a Silver Level PowerSeller is. My previous experience is completely irrelevant to the WP opportunity anyway. I'm not creating the opportunity, just taking advantage of it. PS, if your "previous experience" is "irrelevant", why brag about being a Silver Level PowerSeller? Oh, and from my calculations, your sales on the "bay' have been less than $150 for the past month. I don't think this qualifies for Silver status, but, hey, what do I know? No wonder your sales are more on WP. |

If your Mother needed to earn an income online, would you honestly recommend WP as a venue? If so, why?
Yes, I would 100% absolutely recommend selling on WP to my mother if she needed more income. She's a home decor finatic and could have a great time on WP except that she is not able to work right and also does not need any more income. Short answer of why I would recommend WP to anyone is very reasonable fees, ease of creating a great looking store, ease and speed of listing and revising listings. Plenty more reasons, but those are key.
Notice that the reasons don't include sales as a KEY reason?

Quote:ease and speed of listing and revising listings. Plenty more reasons, but those are key. Ease and speed of listing???????????? You must be joking here. I think you are being disingenuous, PS. What if your Mother had NO OTHER INCOME. Would you recommend WP? Quote:Notice that the reasons don't include sales as a KEY reason? Yes, I sure did, race. Quote:She's a home decor finatic and could have a great time on WP except that she is not able to work right and also does not need any more income. So you would recommend she pay to participate in the social camaraderie of WP? PS, a person with a business does not think along those lines. They consider what they will earn. : |
