vitalfinds I saw your vid about not buying on ebay. I'm going to go ahead and say it here. I recall and old bud of mine named Sundancel saying just about what you are saying now. I also recall as a result of her posts on FAS that a handful, including yourself, were right there to back up all might feebay to the point some of you had her banned from FAS. Now that things have come full circle I would think it prudent of you to publicly apologize to her for your part in the thrashing of her and a few others you played on those boards that took place, when all she and others where trying to do was get YOU (sheep) people to see what she already knew. Not sure if she even scans the boards much anymore. But sometimes... a little humility goes a long way. Know what I mean?
I know I should ignore you xppman, but what the heck ... here goes ... If I ever become as nutty as Sundance was at that particuliar time, then feel free to let me know. I'm one of the more tolerant people of "negativity" and I like it ... no, I Love it when people speak their mind without any sugar-coating, and I read many, many of SD's threads and found them interesting. But maybe it's due to my interest in self-help topics or something, but after awhile, I saw a person who simply was unable and/or unwilling to move on with her life. So although in some ways I'd like to see this current protest go on forever, it won't, and it shouldn't. People have to ultimately make a decision and go forward. There's many ways to voice an opinion and/or protest. I've messed up many times in real life with becomming so obsessed with my "cause" that people would avoid me. I'm not a protesting pro myself, but I could pretty easily spot that sort of obsession in another person. There will be many people who haven't reached their last straw at this point. I hadn't reached my last straw at that point. I have now but I know that many haven't. I guess there's no perfect way to protest, but if you start going over the edge then you begin to loose any ground that you've made. |

Why am I not surprised at your response.
After putting a face to you I kind of figured. "Here's a girl just like anyone else with half a brain and a heart". Boy was I wrong... instead of admitting YOU were wrong and apologizing, you just can bring yourself to doing it can you? Now here you are two years later making videos telling people not to buy on ebay and sobbing about the same stuff and promoting Waggle flop. Now who has the "obsession"? LOL Unbelievable.

eBay sends in LiveWorld when the negative eBay haters get out of line. Ray sends in Deep River Man when the jealous gunslinging naysayers get out of line.
No doubt. ;D

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
xxp - I knew that you have been itching to jump on me for something for awhile now. When the 2005 fee increases hit, I was one of many on fas who started actively branching out to other venues. During all the time that you and Sundance were calling us all sheep, many of us were getting set up on Blujay, iOffer, ecrater, ebid, bidville, yahoo, overstock, buying UPC codes in order to sell on Amazon, going through the wp1/bidzig/goshopgirl/lunarbid/theauctionman phase, getting domain names/hostings/re-seller accounts, learning html/front page/dreamweaver, and in general, doing everything known to mankind to reduce a presence on ebay.
When ebay announced their "store in search," 300 catagories, and navigation bar in the listings, I was impressed and focused more attention on my ebay store -- but the sudden about-face with the stores in search was just about the last straw for me, and the removal of my me page after that sealed the deal. I guess my "sin" with you is that througout my "expansion" time, I kept going with ebay as well. Has it occurred to you though that it was ebay sales at that time that was funding my expansion away from them? So do I expect everyone to "listen to me?" No, but I guess it's my turn to be a protester. |

Back to our regularly scheduled waggleflop discussion:
Way to go, Ray! 2 posters on the Ebay stores board just said that they will not being paying their bills due to technical glitches which waggleflop CS does not want to acknowledge. Once again Romeo drops the ball. ![]() |

I don't want to be too hard on the guy. He's trying, and I hope he has success in his endeavor. I just think that people shouldn't expect miracles, that's all.

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Add one more to the list from the aforementioned thread:
Quote:xxxxxx & yyyyyyy you are not alone. I too had problems getting the pages to load and getting stuck. I too was told no one else had complained (weeks ago) and when I posted here on the stores board about it, another lady (sorry I can't remember her ID) was a bit upset that she was considered "nobody" since she too, had the same problem and had asked for help/complained about it. Maybe Ray should change his tagline to "the exodus has begun." |
