Welcome to TT, mamapeapod.

Don't let saturn bother you. He was better known as deepriverman in WP1 days, but has also surfaced as brian1212, weirdpatrick, bojangles, and a few other names I'm not going to bother looking up. He keeps reappearing and does more harm than good for the reputation of WP when people see his rambling, incoherent support.

Sneakymagenta, I think DRM used the same post or something similar at TRS.

Edited to add:
The thread with the high/low logic discussion:
Also, the first page of this thread has a great post by Regic, which chronicles many of saturn's other incarnations / bans / and such:
http://www.therossshow..com/showthread.php?t=5660&highlight=deepriverman

Bojangles' manifesto from TRS:
http://www.therossshow..com/showthread.php?t=5751
(p.s. he was never actually banned, but no one would listen to him anymore)

(the title of his manifesto thread is one of those things that makes me thing he's just pretending to act this way to get a rise out of people)

Quote:What do you say Thentavius, I have over 16 inches piled outside, how much do you have? We could ship it express mail so it won't melt.

Not to derail the thread, but we were actually snowed in (West Mesa). We made the mistake of trying to go to Albertson's to get milk, grapenuts, and metamucil for a constipated cat (no, really. Seriously) and a few other things we needed, but hadn't gotten right before the storm. Stupid.

We didn't dig the driveway out well enough, and we got stuck halfway out. Totally stuck, with the a$$ of the car hanging into the street. We had to push and dig the thing out (took 25 minutes). Got to the store where everyone was buying booze for New Year's and waited in line for an hour. Then, the freezing fog rolled in just as it was getting dark (in the store parking lot). The sky was blackish purple, shot through with orange. And visibility was 0. Had to dig out of the parking lot (black ice), then got back to the driveway with only a couple of feet of visibility and slippery roads.

We dug the driveway before pulling it--but got stuck with 3/4 of the car sticking out in the main intersection (kind of busy). The fog was so thick, we thought people wouldn't see us and would smash into us. We tried giving the tires traction, salt, shoveling--anything. Our driveway is on a slight incline with a small bump where the gutter meets the entrance--we were stuck on that. One tire was spinning, but the other wasn't, so we used an electric tea kettle ( ;D ;D ;D) over and over to melt the ice, then used good ol' physics to rock the thing back and forth, over and over until we got it  back in the driveway.

;D ;D  It took 3 hours to do a routine 10 minute trip.

We got 22 inches the first day, and more added. We've also got these deadly giant icicles crashing off the house right now.

thentavius,

Did you think to video tape your trip or take pictures? I plowed snow for 18 years and I am glad I am done with that part of my life (2004 was my last year). We have it the total oppisite as you do this year, 40-50 degrees every day and no snow as of yet. If you have a pic please post it, I would be glad to know what we are missing.

Not sure why the links aren't working. You might have to cut & paste the links into your browser to see them.

Thanks.

If you edit your post with the links try doing this:

Wherever you found the link to work open it up. Copy the link in the address bar and paste it back into your post. I am not sure why this happens but this is how I corrected it in the past.

Quote:Sneakymagenta, I think DRM used the same post or something similar at TRS.

DRM's visits to any forum follow the same pattern:

Part 1: repetitive spamming, frequent use of the word jealousy
Part 2: hits on females in forum (he's attracted to avatars), talks about "moonwalking nekkid across the screen", "scampering up trees like a squirrel to peek in windows"
Part 3: "The mother of all tribes" rants
Part 4: Badmouths forum admins, mods, and finally BANNED

FYI: he never made it past phase 1 during his 8 hour membership at TT because we've seen his act one too many times.  Look up the definition of troll in the dictionary and you'll see his name.

Some of DRM's political views:
1. According to DRM, most of the problems in the US stem from the "robber barons" giving the "low logics" (which he defines as women, non whites, jews, and people who correct others' grammar on forums) the right to vote. :Smile

This guy is a real piece of work. I know which category I'm in. Hey, Then, you were a "low logic" -- which is your category? There's a definite and obvious absence in a village somewhere.

Hey, will someone go over to PSU and tell these posters what the site is for. Check out this latest post:

Quote:all forums should have a limit of 2 negative posts from a poster on a selling site.....

ONLY this rule in a forum can truly help grow sellers a good site to compete with ebay...

there are so many hidden agendas of people.. from being paid by a competitor to jealousy to mental issues... ALL these hurts all sellers trying to find and build a real competitor.

let all post freely any positives about a site.. their agenda is seen with this and others can more easily analyze....

we have seen here where there were positive posts on a site and somehow a group from another forum watches and then brings their people to do the negative.. this is a SMOKING GUN!!

let the poppers cheer on their site.. let bidville cheer on their site... let ola people cheer on their site.. EACH seller should find a site and cheer on too...limit of 2 negative posts on a site is ENOUGH!!

Does this sound like it could be from from our friend who is missing a village, who is now calling himself "guest." I think it's the "pay", "jealosy", "mental" part that's the tip-off.

EDIT: The "ABOUT ME" page link to the new WP seller is GONE -- BY, BY. What a shame. That was the most fun I'd had all day. The store is still there, and the seller (OMG) lives in my state. Yikes!

It's him.  He was probably banned at the same time he was hitting the submit button which is why he's showing as Guest. I just noticed that he was also banned as Bojangles in August so this will be his 3rd banning from PSU (tieing his 3 OTWA bans).
