And even if you can come up with a true variation of words (although there are still patterns, no matter how hard you try), often the person's use of punctuation (correctly or incorrectly), as well as typesetting, spacing, and arrangement, give them away.

Ray and Karen tend to write reasonably educated sentences.

And then break quite a bit.

With a few different short paragraph lengths, but rarely over a set number. Often ending with an imperative.

For example.

Done.

Hmmm, by the time I got to FAS, it was already a huge forum, and I didn't have a lot of time to read but I tried.

So, let's say Karen is Ray.  Then what?  Why is that a problem?  Given what I know of the previous launch (which is not a whole lot), why would he want to use his real persona?

Oh yes and I have noticed that typing style.  My brother does it, too.  I have a tendency to use more breaks than not.

Mostly because I hate it when people type in one big long paragraph.

I know for me, I cannot read one big huge paragraph.  I literally have to put my fingers on the screen or I get lost.  I hate long sentences, too, but I've noticed I'm becoming guilty of that.

Oddly enough, my brother, myself, and Ray have all been named "geniuses" at one time or another.

hmmm

The launching of WP-2 was a suspect act in itself.  The fact that he is playing games with the people who are trusting him is even more suspect.

Everyone knows who Ray was and who Ray still is.  Why does he hide?  What does he have to hide?

Perhaps you should ask yourself why you would want to trust and have dealings with a person who is obviously playing games and not being truthful right upfront?  And happily taking your hard-earned money at the same time.

Edit to add:

Really? Now, gee.  How would you know that?  Gosh.  That's what Ray said once on FAS.  Welcome to the boards, egotistical, self-absorbed, narcistic Ray II.    Happy001

Princess, we don't really care if you choose to trust Ray.Just please don't promo him here. I do remember when you were constantly spamming the stores board at ebay. Very annoying.

Edited to add Stardust's edit, lol.

That's unfortunate. I imagine you don't read many books.

I also think you missed my point. I was citing one example of the similarity in syntax, not proclaiming the inarguable "smoking gun."

Quote:Oddly enough, my brother, myself, and Ray have all been named "geniuses" at one time or another.

Really? I was tested with an IQ of 138 (only a few digits shy of a social claim to "genius"; 142).

Which means nothing.

The word "genius" is subjective, as you can imagine.

Oh, and karma?

I imagine you don't mean real karma. You're referring to karma, as it exists on this board.

When someone likes your post, they applaud. When someone dislikes your post, they smite. Simple as that. You would have a better chance on this, or any other board, if you had approached the board in a friendly manner, rather than hefting your Spartan body shield and lobbing a few thinly veiled insults / spam posts at an existing topic. Thus, you've probably been smitten by someone for your obvious spam.

We welcome differing opinions and constructive discussions. We can also see right through sockpuppets and cheerleaders.

Whoa!  Hold on!  Princessmirandajo is a good person!  She even bought a fee hike auction pin from me.  We've chatted about some of the odd things about wp and I sent her here to get more info.

I realize that it's not beyond Ray to pose as anyone, but princessmirandajo is a legit seller who is now beginning  to ask some tough questions on the wp boards.

"Karen" and Ray both try to sound very professional. Then they lose it over some nitpicky little thing. Yep. Karen = Ray.

I'd really like to know how that snakecharmer manages to recruit so many willing WP "spammers for the cause."
