PS can't see a few word's so I will help her with what she missed.
Partial quote from DB Quote:when you have more feedback from sellers than you do from buyers, that makes you more of a buyer than a seller Quote from PS Quote:No hon, your SALES make you a seller. Not your feedback. Partial quote from Mamapeapod Quote:I was on Wagglepop for five months Quote from PS Quote:Mamapeapod, according to your posts on the WP forum, you opened your store and started listing around Halloween 2006 and closed your store in early December because a relative was coming for an extended visit. I'm sorry, but that's not 5 months. Yes she can't grasp the concept of more than in the first 2 quotes. Being on WP doesn't me you were registered. It could have meant she checked it out for a while before she started selling and then realized it was a scam. Anyway she misses these key words "more" & "on". Put them together and that is what she is! Platzki, Now do you see what I mean about reading between the lines? let the truth be told u1it4less - "it's all in the name.."
I could be wrong, but wouldn't it be copyright infringement to scan a wallpaper border and use it as the background for your store logo? I mean, if it was a non-profit use, I could see it, but for commercial use I would think it would be a no-no. See eBay Auction #7753616233 and compare to a certain logo we've seen a lot of. I'm a dumb seller who couldn't make it on Wagglepop though, so I really don't know. I'm just sayin'....
If you were to steal the design and copy it onto something, and sell the item then yes. If copyright was an issue for example you couldn't use all the cartoon characters, etc that people use for avatars all over the net. They aren't selling them though.
Gotcha. I just know when I was selling logos & templates I had to purchase rights to use certain graphics. I assumed if I were to use something for my own logo I would also need to own the right to use it since I was using it as a part of my commercial endeavor. So, wasn't sure.

Some of the overly defensive responses regarding Wagglepop (both then and now) have always reminded me of emotional lovers/ex-lovers. Many of the Poppers then (and now) have been so vehement and hateful about eBay, one would think they had just broken up with an awful ex-spouse that they still have feelings for (but the hatred outweighs the love). Wagglepop rides in as the new boyfriend/girlfriend, deserving of the tortured soul's new passion, love, and defense. The tortured "divorcee" then defends the rebound lover no matter how silly the lover may seem to others.
this is perfect!! :turkey2: welcome MamaPeaPod |

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I'm not sure if anyone seen my post from early on the listing counts at WP I manually counted them this morning after it looked like they were done removing stores.
I'm sorry but it is a lot more then just 2000 listings gone in a day. Yesterday WP homepage = 157,328 Actual manual count = 147,699 Today WP Homepage = 154,929 Actual manual count = 141,736 Difference in one day = 5,963 That is a big drop in listings in a 24 hour period in my book. But of course the sellers on WP are not going to see that as they are only going by what is manually posted to the WP homepage. |

And that's what Ka/Ray is counting on - that no one will bother to pull out a calculator and manually 'tally' up the listings. It's pretty well established that the poppers take whatever Ka/Ray's says as gospel. Look at the Alexa numbers for example. WHILE Karen was gushing about increased traffic, the numbers were dropping daily. Not one person there seemed to notice or bother to check it out for themselves. Oh well. I almost feel like we're just beating our heads against brick walls. They're not going to listen. The ones that are doing well, great. The ones that aren't will figure it out at some point. There's only so much we can say.

I feel quite honored that my post from PSU is quoted below . Anyhow, AngelSong777 seems to be getting quite upset on PSU, I did reply to her comments saying I was on for a total of five months, and she stood corrected in her next post about her comments
