Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
In looking at the new stores page on WP, I have to say that I am glad I left.  At this point, I would not be ready to be a featured store or a showcase store.  Finding the "little guys" on there is a toughie.

It takes me twice as long as the experienced seller to list and tweak, etc.  At most, I can get 100 items up in about 2 weeks. (Then I still go back and tweak them some more).  No one would EVER find me there.

Still catching up on the reading (pg. 439), but had to add:

Quote:mother of all NEEDS izs understanding the natural laws

Looks like he's passed the degrading of women and moved on to the "mother of all tribes" phase.

He's the best spokesperson for WP out there. His words speak volumes.

Yep--I noticed the errors. But it's too funny to pick on.

Perhaps the misspellings were intentional in the cartoon.  I was rather disappointed the cartoon did not mention all the sells wp's been getting...

Bratpack:
Quote:Are we reading the same post? The poster started off by saying "I'm bad". Obviously they knew that they were doing something wrong. Next line- I clicked on one of the ads 3 times and the popper got all excited to see the number of clicks, blind trust that countermeasures are in place. Note the way he is talking about this seller he did this too. Last line- I am tempted to pm the seller so they can see if they are charged for the clicks. The poster did not say they contacted the seller or was their any hint of guilt in this posters statement. Infact, they sound like they were very proud of what they did, so proud in fact that they could not wait to get on the board and share what they did with all of you.

I have one question to ask and then I am going to leave this topic alone. Why spend so much time trying to belittle and hurt the sellers who choose to sell on WP? I can certainly understand a need to blow off some steam if you feel you have been done wrong by someone but the extent of this hatrid that many TT posters have is sickening. The lengths that some are going is unbelievable, and they are doing things to mess with peoples businesses.

I think someone here needs to pull a bunch of posts here (of which there are hundreds) regarding how we support the sellers, have no malice toward them, want them all to succeed, have their best interests at heart, want to warn them about the pitfalls and avoid the mistakes we made, have compassion for them, etc. etc. This Brat and many others have put in Poppers' heads that we sit up nights with nothing better to do than concoct some well-orchestrated, complicated plot to destroy the sellers on WP for our amusement. -- More of that we/they cult propaganda stuff.

This Brat needs to be set straight.

#1 Wp store had 6887 listings yesterday morning... today it's 6813... either she had one hell of a sale day or she is slowly removing her items...

hmmm... I'm leaning towards the latter...

anyone? Tongue3

Alskling...it's like an instant replay of WP1.
Only difference...last time it was OTWA and this time it's TT.
I'm afraid we're just [Image: beatdeadhorse.gif] and BangHead
The true blue poppers will never see it.  They don't want to.

BUT...there are the ones who have that slight uneasy feeling of something that just isn't right and what we say will confirm their suspicions or at least make them look at things a little closer.    That's the best we can hope for.
Never argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
