Ok you twisted my arm.  I kind of hate doing this because I wanted to support any somewhat worthwhile alternative to ebay, but it's getting pretty obvious that Ray is about to blow it again out of sheer stubborness and/or stupidity. If he doesn't believe Sandee and doesn't get things fixed, then it's all pretty much a lost cause.

Glad I copied this to a note pad before posting, This is my 5th attempt to submit this post. Disabled firewall and popups.

First thank you to the posters that have figured out the router
problem. I opened my store in the past few weeks. I had to put
working on it on hold due to my DD going into the hospital.

I have tried off and on for a week to do ONE listing. Couldn't make it
happen. Tried Contact Us button to explain the problem and hit submit...get
the lovely dead page.

I can see from the info posted by WP members, that in order to list or
buy on WP, I will have to go out and purchase a new router.

No thanks. I can use this router on ANY site on the internet and not have
this problem. Plain and simple if the firewall in my router tells me
this is not safe, I'm going to listen to it, not go purchase one that can
"get around it".

Karen, there are MANY folks that can't contact you about the problem,

BECAUSE of the problem, it simply won't let us. I cannot get to any

area of WP but the Community and browse and stores and get the site

to work.

Trust me, I have tried to contact you thru your system several times.
I was a STRONG supporter of the previous WP site, (Karen just ask Ray, I
took some hits for him on the FAS/WP board) And, as much as I had
hoped to list on this site, I guess for now, I will close my store until the
problem can get fixed.

Sadly for the WP Sellers that I had looked at their stores, I won't get to
Christmas shop with them. Since by closing my store, that means WP is
closing my account in full.

Best of luck to you folks that can use the site. Wish I could.

Unbelievable arrogance and stupidity on his part.  Anyone choosing to close their store -- for whatever reason or emergency -- and they're banned for life.  How selfish and ignorant is that?  Sad  >Sad  Words can't describe the disgust I feel for this maroon.

I don't think that Sandee has that assumption quite right.  I agree that it's weird how things are set up, but I'm guessing that it was the easiest way to set things up so that it was a flat rate per month.  Although that's a little ackward when needing to cancel a store, I haven't read anywhere that you can't sign up again as a non-store owner.

Also ... any ideas as to what's up with this?  http://www.rscript.com/  The website doesn't work for me.

I'll vouch for that... it does seem there have been a few more cheerleaders coming out of their hiding places, however...  Common010 Common010 Common010 Common010 and Pee4sale is up to his normal sophomoric and baseless posts...  Tongue2 ... with the ever usual "can't back up my claims, just believe it's true" banter.  :teletubbies green:  Teletubbiespurple Teletubbiesyellow :teletubbies green: Teletubbiesyellow Teletubbiespurple

I like it here much better...  Downtown

Maybe it's Ray and Mrs. Ray. It's not hard to believe that he has that much time on his hands and we know he is flaky.  Wink

At one time, I was willing to let bygones be bygones, expect new site issues, and whatever else that my ignorance allowed... but nasty comments by "company reps" SEALS it for me to not give WP one inch of approval.
