Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Looks like a few other sellers are getting ready to jump ship....the store count is falling again. Wonder how low it will go this time, and what reasoning will pop up on the boards from KaRay this time to explain this latest drop in stores.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Store Count: 409
I've watched (and am still watching) so many great sellers leave, sellers who had poured their heart and soul into their WP stores. Sellers who were awarded Founding Member status but still felt their best decision was to close their doors at WP. Maybe it is corny for me to say but that thought won't stop me. Here goes... HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU! Until we meet again... All the best to each and every one of you wherever you emerge again. I look forward to our re-acquaintance in the future. Damn I'm thinking we need a lost seller directory so we can follow those we've grown to admire to their new venues, those we have confidence in and that we would purchase from in a nanosecond under more favorable circumstances. Clarification: Favorable in this case would be the privilege of being able to buy without prejudice; without a "permanently disowned" stigma after having left WP. Edit: Drats: Race was simple and to the point and beat me because I talk too much!! Don't you guys appreciate it when I'm gone for a few days - you don't have to put up with my dribble.

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Quote:We have had multiple emails from membership applauding the change as a tangible measure of our commitment to build and keep a community built on trust and honesty. Quote: registrations have tripled since the implementation And how about this lie: STORE COUNT DROPPING DAILY, BUT LISTING COUNT HAS REMAINED AT EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT FOR NEARLY 2 WEEKS NOW. As Adolf Hitler said, "The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it"? So, maybe that explains why die-hard cheerleaders have such steadfast belief in WP -- WP IS THE BIGGEST LIE IN E-COMMERCE. |

YOHB, we always miss you when you are gone. I look forward to reading your posts.
My post was simple and to the point because my wrist, hand and fingers are hurting very much today, and typing too much at one time is extremely painful. Arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and tendinitis have all kicked in together today because of the cold weather. Growing old ain't for sissies

YOHB - I think it's hilarious about Meg. I can't say she'd be on mine, but apparently she has many.
PSU numbers are dropping for WP (they're 2 behind blujay last I saw). I really wish I knew where some of the sellers were going because I really think they have good products at good prices. Good luck to those who remain. We will be here if you need us.

I will not pretend to sympathize with the pain you are going through as I'm only a victim of arthritis in my wrists but I honestly empathize with the concept of debilitating pain. I've experienced nature's cruelty to an aging body targeted at other parts on my used up frame. It's so true that weather can dictate a day to be physically agonizing or a respite from what afflicts us. I hope you find many days of respite real soon.

Maybe some of the sellers that are leaving or are considering leaving Pop Land are lurkers here and will join us eventually. I wish all of the sellers that have left good luck, as well as the sellers that are hanging with WP.
Feel free to join us here at anytime.

YOHB - I think it's hilarious about Meg. I can't say she'd be on mine, but apparently she has many. [/quote] So; do you recommend I accept or deny her invitation? Considering her MySpace page only shows 122 friends, I'm assuming she started it up very recently. Wouldn't it be a shock if KaRay opened a profile? Oh, but wait a minute, that would be exposing himself to the public eye. Well slap my hand and call me foolish!

Re: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I counted 60+ store with 10 items or less in them. While some may be new, I was quite surprised at a few I saw with so few items. I was going to count those with less than 25, but it was page after page.
:blinkie: YOHB, if it were me, I would be a little more selective about my friends. Not just anybody can access my page. (Imagine the spam...lol).

The new registration process only applies to new people signing up, correct? They're not going back through and making current members do it, are they?
