I've just heard that Ray's Wagglepop trademark application has a cell phone number only attached to it.  I'm not sure what to make of this because I'm not sure if people are starting to use cellphones as their primary numbers.  But, being Ray ...

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
I was just over there looking around and discovered that Waggleflop has a profanity filter which filters not only profanity but slang terms, etc.

Quote:The other day I was listing a DR. Atkins book and I got a profanity warning. I looked at the description about a dozen times and could not find any profanity that I knew. I deleted one of the 2 paragraphs and that removed the warning.

Today I was listing a couple of books from a culinary mystery series and got warned on two of the listings. So now I know what the profanity is:

J*rk or Je*k

for those still wondering.

Last I knew this was only a mildly derogatory term and not considered profanity. I guess I can forget about listing my Jamaican cookbook...

Find the profanity in the following:

Quote:Please help me. Somewhere in this book description is profanity - at least as defined in your filters. Are there new meanings to words that I don't know?

BTW I already tried s*xy and y*nk...

Book Description
Jolie Goodman never yearned for a life in Atlanta's fast lane. All she wants is a career in real estate, and she's willing to sell shoes in Neiman Marcus over the holidays to make ends meet. But recently, her boyfriend vanished -- with her car -- and her search for answers leads her to some very exclusive circles. Jolie hooks up with a pair of retail fashionistas who have made crashing society bashes an art form, and soon finds herself rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous ... and rubbing other body parts with one of Atlanta's most eligible bachelors!

But Jolie can't shake the feeling that she's being pursued ... right into a dangerous clique where friends and enemies look the same, and flirtation is the preferred party favor. Jolie and her gal pals become the toast of the town ... until a body turns up at a sexy soiree the women have crashed. The fun and games come to a dead end when the "crashers" are fingered for the murder. The women have to pull all the tricks out of their designer bags to try to trap a stalker before Jolie, once the life of the party, becomes the death of the party.

Please enlighten me!

That's normal.  He copied eBay's application word for word Smile

Ok, I was just wondering since it was different than last time.

About the "profanity," I'd guess it's "rubbing" since "fingering" is also on the list.  Someone found that out when trying to list a clarinet book.

Marketing at its finest.  Ray trying to portray himself and WP as a wholesome place.  There's quite a contrast between that public image and the real Ray.  The night before he stepped down as moderator at FAS he sent us a PM and almost every word was either Fuck or motherfucker. :Smile
