RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
Getting back to Wagglepop and the reported 900 stores, I just did a little poking around and I think that number is probably not a true account of the number of stores that are actually making payments. There are 400 of the 900 stores that have less than 25 items listed, so I'm guessing that he's just letting the non-payers remain in the system in order to make things look better.

RE: Wagglepop 2: Deja Vu as Auction Site That Left Sellers Stranded Reopens
WP came up in another forum discussion today. The promotion on the front page claims 90K+ items. Oddly, the site states listing in the 68K range. Since "All Listings" includes auction and store numbers - obvious when you look through the categories - they be 'flickted w/ Enron Mathitis. They're totalling the numbers across auctions, BIN and One Bid to get that number. Auction and one bid are all auctions...they're double adding inventory based on search criteria stats.
I sure wouldn't wanna' be one of those *employees* crowded around the card...er, conference table waitin' for a paycheck...on second thought, maybe I would with those inflated values! Naaaah. Never mind. They'd give you a big old check and then shut down the bank account. :icontvlol: |
