I noticed the discrepancy too  Smile

SSDD w/Romeo, eh? I wanted to  Puke  when I saw that references to "integrity" and "community" over there.

BTW, the person questioning inventory claims is a current WP member. They have a "feeling" that things aren't going as well as Ray would like to have it appear.

This is bad business for the marketplace. "Newbies" to diversifying who got their hopes for instant success off-eBay inflated by this crew will be among the most disappointed. Most don't realize that there are about 1K auction sites and almost none require up front fees.

Vital, that phone number belongs to a "masking" company. When you look at the whois inofs, there's an e-mail address that ends in @privacypost.com Following that info, you can see that a lot of companies are using this to keep their information private. I use domain proxy through GoDaddy for several of my domains. Anyway, that phone number belongs to this site: http://privacypost.com/about.php

BTW, regarding my earlier posts about the WP counts, seems one of their members states that the store counts are not included in the "total" count...that for some reason, even though there's not a lot of inventory, people who pay for stores are treated like second rate citizens at WP. Just as they are at eBay.

For whatever reason, the total counts do not include the stores and the very stats on the site are misleading.

I'll never figure out why a company would dump on the very people they can rely on for a steady income. WP = eBay. Well, not exactly. WP is a baby eBay. Less everything. Less cost. Less convenience. Less sales. And here I thought sellers were trying to escape eBay.

This is one incidence in which *I* will not be *used* by those people.  I was led down the path the first time, got smarted but good (as we all did), and I won't forgive nor forget.  Anything having to do with RR cannot be trusted!  Just plain fact!

Hi, I just closed my store on WP thanks to the great detective work all of you have done.  I had a bad gut feeling and should have pulled out sooner.

Vital, keep working the WP boards and let them know things aren't right.  I have been banished,  ;D

I went into my user account information after I emailed and said I wanted to close my store and changed my name and address to single letters....it accepted everything!!!  Smileyyellowbang  Can you believe a system that blindly accepts incorrect addresses???  So then I thought I would be a really smart person and change my email address to some made up thing...it took it and then I was locked out  Happy001

I didn't know if they would be able to find me or not but because I had written to close my store they (Ray/Karen) sent me an email reply and spanked me for changing my information.  Then sent me a bill and had me pay to a nonregistered PP account!!!  >Sad
Good bye all
Enjoy your freedom
Use it well

Oh, another store owner is starting to pull out and as she deletes items her store category counts stay the same....

I wonder if this is how he is able to fix the numbers....

Good bye all
